Ok, I am sitting here watching this, and the only thing that keeps coming to my mind is if the new Knight Rider Movie is anything like this, it's gonna suck.

oh tell me about it.. first scene he was in, i was all, "woah! is that hobie?"

eddy was back too.. he was one of my favorites from the early seasons. i was bouncing out of my chair when he was in the credits.

that was a great movie. i thought it was going to be some cheesy movie where they rip off more storylines from themselves and just have babes bouncing around. but really, it actually had plots.

Hobie was the ONLY thing worth watching. (Ok, I have a thing for Michael Bergin (JD) too.)

But as for it having a plot, it didn't, it totally thumbed its nose at the original series, pretty much throwing the original away. Is that what you want? Is that what you like?

It was perfect FOX material: All T&A, not much else. Itty bitty plotline, and overacting. It actually managed to make the original series (minus Baywatch Hawaii) look good.

Like I said, if the KR movie goes that way, I am going to need to invest in barf bags.

I hope not, though I have to say one thing, David needs to loose the chest hair. :P He sure had a alot of it. But you know, I knew the wedding would never happen, it never does. :P Mitch is meant to be the last single guy on earth. :P

I thought the movie was fantastic.

Whoa... the movie had a plot? I thought it was one of those work out videos....

I know what you mean. I never would have thought "the boobs" would have written it and be behind the camera as well as in front of it. I agree with the above. It was like a work out or swimsuit video. 8)

i get this a lot.. "woah, there's a plot?"

of course, only people that just stare at what the people look like rather then actually listen or pay attention to the storyline would say that.

if the show didn't have a plot, it'd be just CJ prancing around. but i guess you all missed the whole thing with allison being being in on it with sato trying to get back at mitch again after he defeated him a second time in the way earlier seasons, or him getting married and all reuniting with everyone, or neely finding out about allison being a fake, should i go on?

or does that not qualilfy as a plot? if it doesnt, what is it?

No, I didn't miss that, I spent most of my time trying to put it all together since it so blatently didn't make a single bit of sense with the original Baywatch. Unless you missed that.

That is a glued together second rate plot that didn't hang together with a single bit of continuity from the orignal. It was a stolen Soap Opera plot and was not very well executed.

Um yeah I seem to recall a bunch of half naked people prancing around. So you sumed it up quite nicely. lol

It was the same as Baywatch always has been, a showcase of half naked women and men running around the beach, with the occassional rescue on the side. The only thing worth watching was Hobe. :D

But, if the new KR movie is anything like this, I agree, I won't watch the whole thing.

it's a movie. it's not supposed to go off from the original baywatch, except for the characters, and some other clips that were taken from the earlier seasons. the plot was very clever and you are all idiots if you can't see the damn plot.

now that i'm all pissed off (holds back the swears) i'm done defending this great movie since all you can't see passed the people.

KITT

btw, you people are no better then those who make fun of knight rider.

First of all, don't insult others for their views. It's not our fault that you can't see past the Hasselhoff. :)

Second, pornos have more of a plot than this movie did.

Third, it was a Baywatch Reunion Movie, it was TRYING to take off from where the original series left off, but couldn't get is act together in getting the continuity right. It actually made TKR look like a word for word KR spin off when it came to continuity.

The whole concept of this movie was not to see the characters, but to get the Baywatch fans one more chance to feel the beach, and in some cases, the movie almost parodied the series. If you aren't going to try to keep up with the show, then don't name it after it. It's a pretty good thing to follow to get people to not say bad things about the movie.

Now, if you are going to spew off again, because I disagree with you, KITT, I suggest you re-evaluate yourself and calm down. Everybody is entitled to their views.

I thought Mitch simply just didn't go to haewaii, retired or something....

If I remember right David didnt like somethings in the show or something so they blew him up.

David didn't like the way they killed him off, so he basically tried to make it so that he didn't actually go to Hawaii.

Except....

A few of the Baywatch Hawaii people mysteriously showed up, and knew the cast all too well.

ok thats not entirely true
the first season of baywatch had some really good exciting episodes with really interestin storylines to them
it wasnt all boobs and plain rescues at the time
the plot lines were really good,to say the least

but it kinda fell off after that...with the whole "babes running around" thing becoming a lil too overdone ...and thats when most ppl formed the opinion....and thus that was the one which stick as a permanent label for the show..
but if u can ever get hold of some of the season 1 or 2 episodes, they were really good

I've never liked Baywatch and I don't care if I ever see this new film.
I think David's standard slipped in Baywatch in fact the only reason I watch 1 or 2 of them is becuase he was in Knight Rider.
But I coulden't stand anymore I think the film Gridlock was kind of o.k but give me Knight Rider anytime.

So they didn't explain about Mitch suffering amnesia and missing since the explosion. Ok that is one proof of continuality error. Name some more? I didn't follow Baywatch regularly so I have no clue what was wrong with continuality.

that whole thing about him being blown up wasn't supposed to happen. it was originally supposed to have him live at the end, but there were fights between him and greg bonann so in one of the editing shots they decided to just have him not come back up again. so, i think they just ignored that part.

sorry i know i said i wasn't going to say anymore on this, but i wanted to clarify that maybe this is what happened...
