Awesome letter! Can we get a version for non-color printers?

Great letter, although I don't think they will like the reference about people outside the US watching the show through the internet? They might think about people watching the show through those "illegal" means....

... which, unfortunately, I am one of them ....

And that might bring forward a negative view about the KR fans on the internet. Specifically, I don't want them to generalize KR internet fans = pirates. Honestly, if I can even subscribe to a pay box just to watch Knight Rider on my TV, I will do so. Unfortunately, we do not have that privilege over here.

On the other hand, if NBC is quick on their thinking, maybe they'll air the show outside the US quickly after they notice how much fanbase KR has outside the US. That way they gain more viewers and also at the same time clamp the Internet piracy. Two birds with one stone.

I for one totally agree with all the above comments. I too obtain this show through dubious means.

The problem with highlighting all the internet watchers, and the DVR recordings that are going on, NBC and the like probably don't really care about these numbers. Their only real interest is how many people watch the ads during the show. The more people watching the ads, the higher the advertisers will pay for their 30s spot during Knight Rider. Unfortunately, telling NBC that a million viewers are skipping ads - probably won't do any justice to our cause.
(BTW, I hope I'm totally wrong about this)
But, for the international users, we can only hope to boost NBC's confidence in selling this show overseas by showing our numbers.

Personally, I think you guys (in the US) need to go down to your Ford dealership and ask to see a "Knight Rider Mustang"... If you can get ford to tell NBC how popular this car is, that may help.

It just frustrating to be a nobody without a Nielson box, so all we can do is post a letter that NBC may not even read.

The internet notion was put in deliberately as this indicates how many people actually are interested in the series that do not live in the US, viewing over the internet is not illegal... nobody mentions downloading... NBC even hosts the episodes online. If one would use proxies (which is perfectly legal) one could stream the episodes. Besides... who is at fault here? The fans wanting to see the episodes? Or NBC not selling them overseas?

But naturally if desired I can take out the internet notion.

I've just got a confirmation that Knight Rider will air in my country since February 5th. Word!

How are we doing people? Are we hammering the mail system? Mine is gone to seek the California sun!

I sent a signed copy with a little note for letter #1 and wrote and signed a little note on letter 2. Sent one late last week and sent the 2nd one yesterday I hope doing my part helps get us a season 2.

I would like to write but in my own words. Is there a thread where I can get a *blank* color letterhead that maybe at the bottom says "member of Knight Rider Online Community" and Knight Rider on top, and a list of persons to write to?
