Please use this thread to contain all information about the Knight Rider Festival happening in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 20-21, 2009. I've pinned this topic so that it always has a prominent display on the forum.

Several threads have been made on the subject and the problem with that is that the information easily becomes lost over a period of days.

Any important information will be added to this initial post so that we can consolidate important information as necessary.

As always see http://knightriderfestival.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for more information.

Neil;

I appreciate your covering all the bases here and since you can rally the troops unlike myself.
This is an event that is going to elevate the attention of our hobby & best of all
will Make A Difference.
I shouldnt wear my heart on my sleeve but when you realize that this event is for Children's Miracle Network
and they will benefit this year & hopefully for many years to come it is worth some note.

Dave Doggett.

I would love to be there, I have been to Vegas 4 times in the last two years but I was only there last month and I doubt I can afford to go again so soon.

Where did you get the KRO t-shirts? I'd love to get one. It would be a neat way to identify the KRO "regulars" who attend.

Neil had them up for sale wayy back in July when KRO was holding up to date Comic-Con coverage. I know his supply was scarce when I placed my order in September. Send him a PM. See if he has anymore.

I've always wanted to go to Vegas for a non-gambling mini-vacation. Guess this forces that plan that I only joked about doing to date.

Come on. A Knight Rider ONLY event? In America? Never did I think that was going to happen.

I just noticed that on the page on this site, it says March 21-22. Whereas, the banner (and this thread) state 20-21 of march. Might want to correct.

http://www.knightriderfestival.com/K...al/Charity.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Friends of Knight Rider, Fans and car owners here is the link to our event's charity, the Theme of Knight Rider as eloquently stated by original Michael Knight, David Hasselhoff.

I met David and he personally told me he would be there for me and my daughter, a special needs child. I applaud David and all who support this cause. :D

I hope you will participate and help those that need your help. Remember, Knight Rider Festival is for you, the stars of the event.

I encourage all members of the website to participate. Yes, even if you can not attend Knight Rider Festival, you can contribute. 8)

I ask the moderators or administrators to take the lead and set the tone. Be a leader for your group. Represent all of your members. Ask they send in their donations and you present the funds directly to the Children's Miracle Network. Remember no funds are to be paid to Knight Rider Festival AND any amount will be gladly accept.

When you make the presentation at the VIP party, you and your group will be the focus, the stars of the event. All of the celebrities, media, local and state officials will see that your group made a difference is a child's life and their family. I have told all of the celebrities how you are making a difference in a child's life. That motiviated them to come to your event, Knight Rider Festival.

An amazing opportunity to follow the Theme of Knight Rider.

I will personally recognize these efforts at the VIP party. Each VIP-celebritiy has graciously given their time because of the efforts of the fans to raise money for these special children and their families.

Take a moment, and read this link. Hopefully, you can make a difference in someone's life...and even your own.

Thank you. I look forward seeing you in Las Vegas for Knight Rider Festival.
Paul Casey
Producer

I can't wait a whole month!!! I have never been to Las Vegas and this will be my first trip just for this event. I really want to bring my replica but don't have the time off work to drive there from Missouri. I hate driving 24 hours straight and will be flying and renting a car. I did however register a couple weeks ago so who knows. I am giving to the Children's Miracle Network and staying at the 4 Queens so is there anyway I can get some VIP status without bringing my replica and "Being someone of importance" as these two hurdles are out of my control?

I hope to put some faces to the usernames and finally meeting someone who's as big of a fan as I am :)

BTW for you out of town people new to Las Vegas. If you get on the ball at Hotels.com room rates are about $35.00 a night if you stay more than 4 nights where I am making this a full trip going to see the sights the rest of the time I am down. (I don't get to go to Vegas that much :)). If you are just staying 2 nights the 90$ deal is the way to go.

I was thinking that we could have username badges like we do at our local car forum.
