#1 Sign that Knight Rider has made it, Leno makes constant fun of it. Tonight he had a Kitt Car candy bar (Kit-Kat) with a silver w blue stripes GT500KR on it that was talking pervy to him.

Assuming it's not actually a real kit kat in a special wrapper it's probably in a box somewhere. It was a halloween gag. He also had a giant hershey kiss with an animated tongue licking, it was appropriately named hershey french kisses.

Leno has Gilbert Godfried dress up in various costumes and in some cases imitate real people people.

Makes me wonder if Jay hates the new KR,or is he just using KR to his advantage as a gag, because he always seems to make fun of it.

He must not hate it too much since he drove the pilot version of Kitt in attack mode. It's on his Jay's garage site.

And has been ripping it in his monologues ever since the premiere of the backdoor pilot and still does so.

I disagree I think Leno is the best late night host. He and I have a common interest, cars.

Oh same here. As a car guy I found Leno great when it comes to cars but, as a talk show host I found him boring.

When he goes off on the political tangent then he turns into a prick. Earlier this year he re-used a joke he made in the 80's movie Collision Course. The Sears joke about Roebuck taking a vacation and coming back to find his name off of the building. I like that he's into cars, on occasion the tonight show can be cool when they go do random stuff like those wheel barrels across the street with the wienerschnitzel hotdog restaurant a few months ago. Stuff like that is cool

Maybe we should write to him how much we loved the KITT-kat and ask him to donate it to us. :)

I don't think Leno lets his personal preferences show. He just reflects whatever the conventional wisdom is. I hate to say it, but the conventional wisdom is that KR is not a good show. Leno is just riding that bandwagon. If KR had a better reputation, he'd change his tune.

The conventional wisdom is to take the biggest dump possible on NBC in general.

He's probably taking every chance he gets to attack NBC because he's leaving next year.I'm thinking he should have a car show!

That's not the US version thats just the US version of the British site. The US version has Adam Carolla and a couple of others as hosts, so far nothing has come of the US version yet. Just snipets of information here and there. If they are gonna do it they better get on the stick. I started to say I wondered why they even bothered with a US version but then I thought to myself that if I'm in one of my anti europe moods then a US version of the show is a good idea.
