I downloaded the new episode on my 360 yesterday in HD and it looks amazing on my TV! If you have an XBOX g2 the marketplace and get the episode for free. Great promoting by NBC, I see their ads on several websites saying "KITT is back".

For those that don't own a 360, if you download the HD version, you get the SD version for free. I downloaded both, but since my HDTV is in storage I only watched the SD version. I'll be getting the HDTV out of storage now that I have room. Can't wait to watch it in HD!

Sweet man thanks! I never would have known it was there!

I downloaded it as well last night. 1.88 gigs took about an hour on our fast connection. I haven't watched it yet, trying to convince the boyfriend to watch with me.

They have 4 seasons of classic KR on their network as well, but it looks like the first episode of anything is free... and the following ones are btwn 160-240 pts (which ends up being $2-3... stupid point system).

You'd just be a lot better off buying the DVD sets at that price, especially when you might find them for as little as $20, though the set coming out obviously will be more, but still a lot cheaper than spending a couple dollars per episode.

I believe he was refering to me mentioning that classic KR is on their network to buy.

While looking through the 360's network of shows to download, it looked like alot of first episodes were free.... and each one after that required MSpoints. So I would imagine ep 2 of the new KR will cost MSpoints as well.

Yeah, I was. Two or three bucks per episode of the original series is a bit nuts IMO when you can get the season sets for half of what that would cost and you have physical copies which you can always use to make a legal back up/conversion of for either storing on your PC or placing on a portable media device, probably get out better quality as well doing it yourself..
