KI3T at NASCAR pre-show in Fontana 8/30/08

Anybody catch the pre-show of the NASCAR race yesterday? Star Car Central did a pace lap in the pre-show, joined by the Mustang KITT from NBC. Not sure if it was the wedge attack version or the regular GT500KR.
House hunting kept me away from the event and away from the TV that afternoon, but I'm sure someone here has a TIVO on watch for every time the 'stang is shown. I'll post some pictures from our guy in the pits whenever the pictures make it online.

It was the wedge!
I heard it was a wild lap, the General Lee and the Mad Max Interceptor were doing burn outs and all kinds of other shenanigans. I'll have to make it next year with Evil Herbie.
Sorry for no advance notice, I just figured it out that Kitt was likely for the surprise guest yesterday right before the race.

Oh wow it WAS attack KITT I wasn’t expecting that. Usually they use the KITT that has been touring around, the one with the different scanner. Well that was cool!

Whats up with the nickname "the wedge" ? I mean it suits that monstrosity but whats the story behind that lol? Yes ive been away for awhile
