I saw a website and a few topics in the KR feature film section saying that KITT might not have a voice in the 2010 KR release!By the way,I'm not talking about the NBC KR,but Glen A. Larson's feature film with TWC.Is that true or just a rumor going on?

Kitt WILL talk in Larson's feature film. What you are reading about is from 2001 when the Larson film project was in development at Revolution Studios back when David Hasselhoff was involved. David was interviewed on The Wayne Brady Show and he said Revolution Studios didn't want Kitt to talk and that is when they realized Revolution Studios wasnt the studio for the project. Revolution let the deal expire because Larson and David refused to move forward with them that way. Larson moved on to The Weintein Company but not before He and David had a falling out. David was pushing strongly to do a version of the movie very similar to the NBCU version. Larson didn't agree and since Larson owns it He won. The rest is history. So don't worry Kitt will talk in the feature film.

when i read the topic title i couldent help but think WTF? then i saw your reply and i thought phew what a relif what kinda movie would knight rider be if KITT didnt talk? what the heck was revolution thinking?

Rest assured K.I.T.T. will talk in the motion picture. I've covered this before but he'll also be a black car, with a red scanner in the front grill where it should be.

Actually, that game might actually be coming finally so there might be hope for Chinese Democracy coming out this decade. The KR movie isn't going to make it of course.

Hmm i dont think chinese democacy will ever fully come out,just few songs at a time.

Theres gonna be a knight rider movie in 2010. The info will be revealed in the KR festival.
About the non talking thing, if they went about it the right way i wouldn't have minded: Like what they did with bumblee, he was mute to show that his and Sam's relation was closer than words.

K.I.T.T. will talk in the new motion picture, count on it. The rumor about K.I.T.T. not talking in the feature film was associated with the Revolution Studios project which has long since expired.
