This time we get to actually meet the man behind K.I.T.T.'s technology - both the 2000 and 3000 version of the vehicle. Bruce Davison (X-Men, X2) plays Charles Graiman in the pilot telefilm, and Deanna Russo plays his daughter Sarah...who's also been involved with Traceur in the past. Sydney Tamiia Poitier (yep, Sidney's daughter) plays FBI agent Carrie Rivai. Bruening (Traceur), Russo (Sarah Graiman) and Poitier (Ravai) are all confirmed to be returning for the revamped show's regular series debut this fall, with continued involvement from original Knight Rider creator Glen A. Larson

(Yeah I'm going to respond, because I believe it's expected of me.)

- Where did you hear this? He wasn't involved with the first one to begin with.

He was just pointing that that out from the TV on DVD story. Hence the eye roll at the end. :D

Featurette - Knight Rider - Legacy.

JOE! Is there something you should tell us? Haha!

It looks like the featurettes are gonna be different things than what we already saw on NBC.com, that’s good, more reason to buy it.
So I take it, by the previous comments that we won’t be seeing Glen Larson in the Knight Rider Legacy part?

tvshowsondvd.com is now in some trouble over posting that article. Glen and his people know about the site (from more then just me) and is taking action to address it.

I'd expect a retraction/apology of some sort very soon.

The mentioning of Glen Larson's involvment when He actually wasn't is what's inaccurate and will be changed. The DVD is still coming out.

What they posted on TVShowsOnDVD would be a common mistake that a non-KR-knowledged site could easily make... they'll see Glen Larson's name in the credits, and simply assume.

I don't think that's really worth an apology, retraction, or getting into hot water; but that's just me.

That site is such a resource for fans of television, for myself and others, that I don't know that it's fair to drag them through the mud for something so trivial.

As big a fan of Knight Rider as you are, you don't understand how much Glen A. Larson values the importance of accuracy when using his name in print, be it online or published. Especially as it relates to the NBCU backdoor pilot.

But what I'm saying is someone not as well-versed in KR just wouldn't know that... it's an easy mistake to make.

VK, is Glen going to have the empty Executive Producer credit with the new series too? Back in February, there were a few people who saw his name attached to the backdoor pilot and thought he was involved in it.

The DVD release should bring out a lot of truth.

If the first season of the new KR goes to DVD, would the pilot be included with the S1 boxset, or not?

I would have though that it would be included in season one when it's relased.

But only time will tell for sure.

Hope they include Arnetts voice work as an alternative audio track
he did complete the pilot before GM stepped in right?"
I liked his darker persona in the teasers
