That Tracer is found in a Vegas Casino, and The first time we see Michael Long in the original series in a Casino as well?
I like how the new KR is respecting the old.

I'm picking up echoes of an even older story. We know Mike Traceur is unaware of who his father is and that he grew up with Sarah Graimen, so it stands to reason that her father, Charles, was involved in his upbringing/protection.
Wasn't there another story involving a man who was unaware of his true heritage and raised by a wizard, until the time came to accept his destiny, take up his enchanted weapon and fight the forces of darkness?
I think that story had something to do with "knights", too.

(Although I don't think Exalibur talked back and cruised at 300mph).

No, but it would be interesting if it was the same casino Michael Long was in in the original Pilot, as some sort of subconscious father-son connection.

Mike's in the Montecito Resort and Casino from the Las Vegas TV series.
Of course, whilst the hotel name and sets are exactly the same, it's entirely possible that the Las Vegas universe that we see each week is not a part of the Knight Rider universe that was established back in 1982, although given that Las Vegas has always been portrayed as a particularly high-tech TV series, I think it would be awesome if it was tied into the Knight Rider universe along with Crossing Jordan for potential crossover episodes should the pilot launch a new series.

knightstand, mango, absolutely fantastic observations! I never clicked! I wonder if this was a conscious effort on the part of Dave Andron? He does seem to be a huge fan, as does everyone else involved too. And the original series was always referred back to Arthur etc. Oh man, I'm loving all these connecting ties to the original alongside all the new stuff! A fanboy's wet dream come true lol

I love Vegas, I have been a few times, and to know where they have shot Knight rider past and present makes it all the better having been there.
Knight RIder never went to New York in the origanal run alough Micheal and Kitt did mention having been there a few times as I recall.
I have also been to New York just Last October would be fanntastic if Knight Rider gets a series and they do some filming in New York.
I do think if we get into mutible seasons, they should keep to having the season opener in a diffrent location.
