The guy (goes by ab16) is in California: http://tinyurl.com/2ramf5

Strange though because he says it was dated Oct. 15th. And he's listing it as a PDF on the 17th. That's kinda quick.

Wonder if someone leaked it or if it's just someone trying to capitalize on the NBC/Universal announcement with a piece of fan-fic?

You're right Joe, it does seem a bit suspicious. I mean why would they want to sell a script on eBay before the show even gets aired?

The script is not in final form, but had to be sent out for casting and location decisions. Someone got a hold of the PDF file and is trying to make a quick buck. This sale is NOT authorized by the writer or NBC--it is piracy. I would think NBC will do everything it can to stop this.

Nice- someone's got a mole in their midst that's trying to make a profit.
C'mon eBay... pull that ad...
ETA: I reported it as copyright infringement.

I did a Google search on the name on the script, and found this link.

Click on KNIGHT RIDER (NBC), and you're taken here, and there's some info on the right.

(Edit: Not saying it's real or whatever, just sharing what I found. )

None of this is new information, you can find the same development info on the imdb tv series page.

Shapeshifter appears to have connections enough to either be in involved with or know of the NBC/Universal TV series so I'm guessing he supports it.

Let me restate, because I wasn't clear about this earlier. The writer for the NBC pilot is Dave Andron, that is correct, and verifiable through the original Variety article of Sept. 27th. The script that is for sale, based on the description given by the seller, is probably the same one I read a few days ago. But, Dave Andron had no idea that someone was trying to sell it, and is doing everything he can to have it removed. It does not do him (nor NBC) any good to have an preliminary draft of the script floating around. Unfortunately, in this day of electronic files, it's easier than ever to steal someone's intellectual property.

Looks like it got removed.

Good! And just in time before anyone got ahold of it. I hope they find who did it and stop him from maybe trying to off it by other means.

This is exactly why Glen refuses to let copies of his script leave his house. He doesn't even have the computer he's writing it on connected to the internet.

That little gem is safe and secure for the time being.

Since NBC Universal has sleazy intentions producing this pilot, I can't say I really feel bad for them in terms of any leaks or moles working for them. I wouldn't really want to read the script even if I had it, anyway. I prefer to be surprised as much as possible.

If you have the double disc edition of the transformers dvd,Michael Bay states that his pc was hacked into for the concept designs of the transformers as well as scripts.
