I hope I got Sues input reflected correctly, I have tried to incorporate everyones comments,plus a little hint of the possible response from the Knight Rider Festival. All this while trying to maintain a proffessional letter.

BTW it has been signed by the Hoff himself. I hope that NBC give the go ahead for a new series as I have seen all the episodes and the pilot even with the small inconvinience of being in the UK. I would hate to see this show canned.

I noticed this too. This tells me that he is paying attention to what is going on with the series and kinda gives me hope that if NBC drops it that maybe he or someone he has influence with will pick it up and give it the attention it should have be a great show.

Where and did he actually sign it or some impostor? I'm betting on impostor, which is a huge problem with online petitions and a big reason why they don't work.

It is highly doubtful it was signed by "the" David Hasselhoff himself.

If you notice, Mike Tracer and K.I.T.T. also signed the petition.

While the sentiment is appreciated, it is actions like this that will eventually bring the credibility of the document into question and may invalidate the petition.

Once credibility is lost, the document is generally rendered useless. So those who thought they were helping by entering artificial information. Actually may have a negative impact on the effort rather than helping.

There remains the possibility that a David Hasselhoff (perhaps not “the” David Hasselhoff) signed the petition. I honestly don’t know how common a name Hasselhoff is.

Mike Tracer and K.I.T.T. pretty slim

The imposter thing did cross my mind and in all probability it is, but it doesn't stop me from having a slim hope it was the real him. Meh.

Since my last post I do now believe leaving it open will be a good thing but sadly I have to agree the Hasslehoff signature is fake.
