Actually, it was rare for Michael to cry "TURBO BOOST!!!!" every time he hit the button before the second half of Season 3. I always preferred it when he didn't... it looked far cooler (see the escape from Turner's estate in "Short Notice", the jump over the missile in "Knight of the Drones", just two that spring to mind).
