A friend of mine who owns a KITT replica and really wants to buy a KR GPS has the first name Krista.

Ok, how about some "generic" name / word for the people who's name isn't on the list...
such as...
"Little Buddy"
"Partner"
"Sir"
"Madame"
"Driver"
"Captain"
Or any better ones you can think of...
And for when you don't follow the directions...
"You're going the wrong way... Re routing"
Just little things like that to make it seem, not so proper

Not the kind of stuff I'd read, actually. If I have time to read at all, it's usually Sci-Fi.
