What is a definitive scene frmo a specific episode that demonstrates the missing sound effects from the bad DVDs? (the Drones scene was an intentional removal of a Prince song.)

well, i only got through the first part of "Knight of the Chameleon", but there wrere virtually No sound effects whatsoever, including the turbo boost sequence they edited out of the syndicated version, except for a few tire screeches. That bad enough for you?

One word: Laziness.

Universal sent me an email saying that as a one time courtesy, they would allow me to send the defective discs back without the sales receipt, as long as I returned a copy of the email they sent with my discs. i asked them when i could expect the envelope, and what to look for.

I ordered another R1 set from http://www.loaded247.com.

They told me they are awaiting stock from he studio.

I have my fingers crossed that the sets they get will be the corrected ones.

if not I will have to send them the set back when I get it.

I have already been waiting a week since I ordered I don't mind the wait if I get a set that's corrected.

Mike,

Off the top of my head, there's 2 perfect examples of missing SFX or music: in "Lost Knight", when Doug jumps in KITT and KITT self-activates to get rid of Peli and Korso - there's no sound effects for KITT self-starting. Also, in "Knight Strike" at the beginning of act 2 when bullets are bouncing off KITT...there's no sound effects for the bullets, but you can hear the squibs on the car going off.

I ordered my set from http://www.loaded247.com to begin with! So naturally the sound was not corrected.

I doubt they will have stock of corrected ones already.

Whet,

Since I bought mine from loaded247, I was wondering if you also bought an original copy from there when it was first released?

If so, are they taking returns for the faulty sets?

Would love to send mine back and get a corrected re-issue.

Cheers for finding that out.

I don't think I'm prepared to let it go just yet, I'd prefer to wait and see if re-issues are actually being sold of the whole set.

As I'm pretty new to the site here and haven't seen anything on this, but are there only problems with the S3 and S4 DVD's?

I just ordered S1 and S2 finally and am wondering if I should be on the look-out for any problems with these sets as well.
