The owner of the car in that commercial was from Virginia.
They transported his car out for the commercial and back.

Nope. NY State makes us put our registration and inspection stickers both on the driver side lower windshield area, out of normal eye view. If you put any sticker in the middle of the front windshield in NY state, I think it might be illegal as an "obstruction of view" and deemed unsafe.
Different states have different laws. When travelling through states, one does have to be careful that what you can do or have to in your home state will be OK in the states your travelling through.
However, things like only one license plate, or official vehicle stickers usually are not counted as "illegal" if in the "wrong" place if it's from out of state, as long as you have the supplimental documents and license plates, etc. as further proof.

Well, those stickers are in clear view in the commercial, too bad they couldn't have been removed just for the commercial.
The States sure have some ridiculous laws, here in Hawaii they put inspection stickers right on the rear bumper of even expensive cars, but you have the option of placing them pretty much anywhere on the lower rear end like on a metal plate screwed on somewhere... And for Hawaii, you are required to have these no matter what state your car is from, plus if you have out of state plates, you are required to put a second bright blue sticker that is about twice the size of the inspection stickers on the rear end... Extremely tacky law...
I guess Hawaii is different because there are no cars just passing through the state, heh heh
Alot of people go with out of state plates though because they don't want the big fat rainbow on the Hawaii State plate on the back of their cars, they think it signifies Gay Pride...

I think I heard in GA you don't have one of those stickers either. My best friend lives in Atlanta and her car doesn't have one.

I knew I could count on you guys to have the hookup for this commerical.

I was at the gym yesterday lifting weights with my music player going, and I looked up to the TV and saw Rosie on the TV of that commercial and though I caught a glipse of KITT. I kept watching and sure enough, of course I couldn't hear anything on it. Now I got to see it. Thanks!
