				Josh,
As usual, you’re coming through in a pinch my friend. I just know that building the prism for Hannah will be every bit as interesting a ride as creating the Knight 3000 voice orb was. Here’s to a truly unique project, and the preservation of a seldom remembered piece of Knight Rider history.

Matt

Here here.

Thanks Matt!

I am really excited to see what Lars does with this replica.

I also look forward to the challenge of doing something as different as Hannah's Prism.
I will post pictures in this thread when I make progress with Hannah's A.I. and Optical Chamber.

It is going to be the TV Version with the backend of Jay Ohrberg and the Spoiler from the Movie

I definitely prefer Jay Ohrberg's version of Hannah, but was it really built with a TV series in mind?

It's actually the same car. Jay Ohrberg originally built it and modified it.
But your right Matt, I did get the background story wrong. (Sorry)
The nicer, cleaner, & blacker looking version was made FIRST and THEN the director took it back to Jay and said "It's too sleek, clutter it up some more."
Go figure..lol

That's a real shame, because I actually like the car in its original form. Sure, it's not KITT, but it actually feels like something that could have been put together by a group of engineers in the post apocalyptic environment that was depicted.

				I couldn't agree more Matt.
I like it's mostly black appearance as well.
Jay did it PERFECT the first time.
Instead Rob had Jay 'junk' it up.
You know that had to kill Jay to cover up all that hard work with rusty white panels of sheet metal.

Interesting fun fact, the director who got Jay to change the car was the director of the first The Fast and the Furious (2001).
Rob Cohen.
Rob also went on to direct Vin Diesel in the espionage action flick XXX (2002).
Very bad things should happen to the editor and writers of KR 2010.

No director could save it from it's own bad script.
Neat premise.
Horribly executed.

This looks like a Knight Rider's car. Matte stealth black (made out of the stealth bomber parts).

Not this...

For crying out loud they put a spring coil shock exposed sideways in the fender. Why? Oh the lack of logic from Rob as a director astounds me.

You're right, Josh. The nicest thing I can say about the movie version is that it looks like the piece of junk that it was depicted as.
By the way, about Rob Cohen. He's not the only guy from The Fast and the Furious to change a perfectly good Knight Rider car into a monstrosity. Does the name Gary Scott Thompson ring a bell?!

				lol I know right

Oh god that attack mode was made for 14 year olds.
Fast and the furious and Knight Rider should never mix.
No Fast and the Furious crew
No transformers crap
No Mark Pellegrino (Great actor, but has the KR death touch. His curse killed KR 2010 AND KR 2008!)

I'm starting that myth/rumor ball started now.

I reckon that’s giving them too much credit bud. GST’s attack car looks like something that a prepubescent child would come up with.

				Hey Friends
I was watchin the movie yesterday again and my eyes spotted another optical lense in the car:

The lense is over Hudson Leick in the right corner, I was like OMG lol
I am startin to create a new KR Fan Fiction, pick up the 2010 Idea and bring the original series in it....

Haha, guys from The Fast and the Furious could turn any car into crap, lol. As Michael said "Al right, K.I.T.T., let's haul him in. Before he gives garbage a bad name."
