This is a tough one but Im getting a kick out of the replies here.

I dont wanna either of em to battle tho,they should both just cruise off into the sunset and be good freinds.

yeah i agree.Maybe they should make a new knight rider with both kitts and they both help each other or the michaels are back too.

It was never really discussed in the new series if the Ki3t had the same weapoint as the predecessor did.The scanner area was Ki2t old weapoint.Dr.Graiman may have built the newer model without the weakpoints or he may have left it in as a failsafe.After all he did build a self destruct sequence in the new car.

Ki3t has his emp but Ki2t had his microjam.By now I'm sure the newer model has special sheilding for that.Then again he couldn't stop being hacked in the pilot.The older kitt never had those weapons so it is kinda defenseless unless the laser power pack has the laser once again and even that could drain what after 6 shots since the original had been improved on since Trust Doesn't Rust.

I'm sure both were also equiped with comprehensive configuration analyzers too.

If I had to equip the newer car with a special instrument that could possibly shoot out nanobots to the ki2t,it could tear away at the mbs coating and then its just a few bullets and kitt's gone.

In my opinion, KI3T has the upper hand with the more advanced technology. It would defiantly be a close one, but with things like the nanotech skin and the EMP, I think that KI3T has the upper hand.
