You know, I meant to mention this earlier, I also prefer "Carol of the Bells" over the other Christmas songs. I just thought this was a funny little coincidence about me. I am trying to think of songs to fit your characters, but so far no luck. I am thinking about every song I know. I hope I come up with a really close fitting one. Maybe you could bring in a new person who writes, sings, and plays on an acoustic guitar. I just thought of it as someone who could write songs specifically for the characters. I am good at song writing, so I could help you out in that area, if you take my idea even slightly. Maybe the person does not have to sing...I just think that would be good for your KITT. Just a suggestion. Keep up the good work with your series.

Having someone come in and do songs for my characters is actually a good idea. See, my KITT is a music lover. I think eventually, around mid-season, he might try to be creative and come up with a song of his own. The first try would be horrible of course, but I think that by the end of the first season he might have something passable. ^_^

Hello everyone! I just now fell upon this thread and I can't believe I haven't said anything sooner.

First of all @Gumnut, I have loved your work since I found you on FF.net! Many of your Knight Rider stories have inspired me to drawing comic versions of your said fanfics. Don't worry, you get all the credit, haha.

Second of all, yes, I am currently writing/plotting a Knight Rider fanfiction. But, I like to think of it as a fan novel instead as it is quite large.

It's not that I'm paranoid someone will take my idea, but I'd rather not give too much information about the plot detail until I get further along in it. What I can say is I'm absolutely sure a lot (if not most Knight Rider fans) will hate it. Why?

Because KI2T gets [implanted into] a human body... eventually.

It's not as bad as you may think, I promise. It makes sense (in universe at least)- and it takes place in the relatively far future (which makes it more plausible for his gaining a relatively organic state-of-being). It incorporates KR:TOS and KR:2008 while ignoring T:KR, KR:2000, and all other spin offs. Personally, I believe there was (or at least could have been) much more to, initially, KARR's existence (then KI2T, then KI3T). That's a prospect I have been toying around with- taking both the 2008 foundational plot and the original's foundational plot and combining them with this crazy under-plot. It's meant to explain everything (at least KI2T's mission is to find out what happened)- not be a spin off. I'm trying to keep it as canon and plausible as possible.

Thank you. I was expecting a rotten tomato, not an encouraging statement, haha.

I'll be sure to post the story once I get further into it. As of now, I have bits written but as I am still hammering out specific plot points, it'd seem wrong to post- especially if I end of taking some parts in different directions.

However, I have been drawing out characters and scenes from it. I'll post those sooner if anyone would like to see them (at the risk of their eyes burning out from viewing my art) once they are completed enough to. :]

Sounds interesting at least. Though I think someone on ff.ne is already doing the 'KITT in a human body' storyline. You might want to check that out.

Yeah, I wanted to make sure I wasn't accidentally copying anyone. Thankfully no one else had the same idea I did. ^_^

Thank you for the link. I'll definitely look into it- but from what I've already read, we have completely separate ideas, thank fully. She's taking more of a Oliver Twist perspective while the idea I'm thinking of leans more towards Minority Report, haha. But yes, I agree. When I come up with stories and whatnot, I like to check around and make sure that: number one, no one else is having a too similar idea, and number two, that I didn't read the idea somewhere without knowing it and expand on it thinking it was mine.

Maybe I need to check for a girl time-traveling through her tv. How do you search? I don't like copying anyone...I hope I don't. This has been my best idea yet.

I looked around the Knight Rider section. All of the fics have a short description under them. I don't think I have seen anything like yur idea ^_^

Thank you again for your kind review! Yes, this fic is just my hobby. I'm a novelist, which I think I mentioned here before, at some point... I would make a KR novel, but I doubt anyone would give me a license.

It's time to move on to episode 6! I should have the first chapter up within the next day or two.
