The ending desert scene loks like it might be a stretch of road west of Mojave, CA
named " Oak Creek Road" just west of Mojave , at the end of the road you can turn left
and head for Willow Springs Raceway or turn right and head to Tehachapi , CA.
Im not for sure but will be in the area in a couple of weeks (with camera).

More scenes at Royal Palms State Beach, San Pedro, CA
Season 2: Return to Cadiz
In the beginning of the episode, KITT detected an unconscious
diver (Bobby) on the beach at "Paradise Cove," Malibu (see page 6
of this thread, posted by 'Knight Rider Archive'). Michael rescued
the diver and rushed to the hospital. However, the road
(Kay Fiorentino Dr.) where Michael drove uphill was in
"Royal Palms State Beach". I guess one of KITT's unknown
function is to "beam" from place to place
This beaming was in the opposite direction of the post above:

I don't have a photo from the same angle, but I found a photo in the following link:

There was a turbo boost on the way to the hospital, which
took place on "W Paseo Del Mar" near the "Royal Ralms State Beach".

Yet another episode filmed at Royal Palms State Beach:
Season 1: Forget Me Not
Scenes: Street chasing; Micki jumped out of the car and fell off the cliff;
Michael rescued Micki and came back to search for her purse.

Here is a link of photo at the same view where Michael parked (lower right picture above):

What about the drive-in movie theaters?
I forget which season & episodes, there’s two that come to mind. One where KITT goes thru the screen and another where KITT meet some bad guys during the day time. I swear that was the one that used to be in Simi Valley, but I’m not too certain.

The Drive-In location used in Season 4's "Sky Knight" was the Pickwick Drive-In, located at:
1100 W. Alameda,
Burbank, CA
This was the location where Michael and K.I.T.T. make contact with Zurich's men, and learn the codename "Deep Sleep." There is a brief chase that results in the bad guys tires being blown out.
The Pickwick was torn down in 1989.

it's from the episode where Micheal and Stevie get married.
It actually gets blown up in that episode, but it must have been a model, because it turns up in other shows years later.
Anyone know it's location?

Season 3, Episode: The 19th Hole
I just found out the location of 'Marberry Motel' as well as
other locations in this episode.
Actual name and location:
Ramada Burbank
2900 N. San Fernando Blvd
Burbank, CA 91504
http://ramadaburbank.com/

It's quite rewarding in this game of KR scene hunting,
which read just like CSI story

I watched the DVD
back and forth and cannot find any clue of the 'Marberry
Motel'. Finally, there was a scene where Michael sneaked into the
motel, where 'Queen City Steel' can be spotted. I googled
it, and it still exists today!
Queen City Steel

Then I checked across the street (using Google Earth, show lodging).
There your go! Ramada Burkbank!
coming next ... other locations in this episode

This one is the result of a couple of weeks' research:
Anyone recognise this building?

Hospital in Chariot of Gold and White Bird

Hotel in Lost Knight

Hotel in Buy Out
It's the Universal Sheraton Hotel, which has been staring us in the face throughout a lot of this thread!

from: MSN maps
But, it's not as simple as that. The footage of the hotel in Chariot of Gold and White Bird is the same, and may not have been shot especially for Knight Rider. I have a feeling it's stock footage that may have been sitting in the Universal vaults. The same can be said for Lost Knight. Still, it's included in the show, so I've included it here. Buy Out is more complicated. In the episode, this is where Lilah and the potential buyers appear to stay... except for the closer shots of them outside the building, which is actually another location!
Buy Out
Buy Out
I recognised this as the same location used in some other episodes, namely Return to Cadiz, Race for Life, and Voodoo Knight. Call sheets I have for Voodoo Knight identify it as 70 Universal City Plaza.
Return to Cadiz
Race For Life
Voodoo Knight
I've checked this out with a fine-toothed comb, and have discovered it is located about 100 yards from the Sheraton, here:
This is the building next to Universal's Black Tower that Joe needed help identifying in the earlier pages of this thread. Here is a shot to illustrate how the location was used in the different shows, which gave the illusion of the building being different locations:
A = K.I.T.T.'s location in Race For Life and Buy Out
B = K.I.T.T.'s parking space in Return to Cadiz and Voodoo Knight
But it doesn't stop there: Other episodes have filmed in this location, at different points and different corners. Junk Yard Dog used an annex for the scenes where Michael confronts Birock, and Fran photographs Birock and Zoormagian (she would have been parked on Lankershim Blvd).
Junk Yard Dog
MSN Maps
Knight Song uses the same location for the scene in which Keith Lawson and Velez give RC3 a beating. Notice the Black Tower looming in the background of the first screencap:
Knight Song
As a sidebar, a famous photoshoot involving David Hasselhoff and the Trans Am took place around this location too (at the reverse angle to where they filmed the entranceway in Cadiz and Voodoo, etc). Notice the building and its address in the background:

Universal City Plaza. Another location found!!

You might be right about this, notice the NBC tower is not seen in the right side of the screen grab. Not built yet?

It's surprising just how many times the same locations were reused from different angles, etc. I don't know how you guys can remember which episodes show what buildings aside from the ones with major landmarks. Excellent work!

I forgot about the info from the script for "KITT vs KARR". The meeting address for the riverbed scenes is 28700 Henry Mayo RD- Highway 126. I believe it's now refered to as Henry Mayo BLVD. Also mentioned is "The Old Road between Castaic Junction & Magic Mountain", and "Highway 126 Near INDIAN DUNES".
The directions on the bottom of the map...
From studio take Hollywood Freeway north to Golden State Freeway (5) past Magic Mountain Parkway to West Ventura 126 off ramp...on 126. Transportation equipment will turn into ranch just past the bridge and before Indian Dunes. Park equipment in vacant lot left of driveway of ranch. Cast an crew continue to Indian Dunes, turn left into driveway and park to the right vacant lot before gate and trailer.
I hope this helps in the search for this location.

additional location in episode: The 19th Hole
Approx. address:
845 W Cypress St, Covina, CA

This the location where Michael arrived in town (a quiet
retirement community ?) and met Jamie and other racers.
The burger place (where Michael and others ate near the end
of the episode) does not exist in the plaza today. In some
scenes, you can spot 'Jack in the box' in the background,
which still exists today! (912 N Azusa Ave, Covina, 91772)

Good find, Sue! Is there a take-out (cheeseburger etc. that Michael ordered) across the street ?
Speaking of Lankershim, here is a location I visited during my last KR-tour:
Metro Auto Electric & Repair
4097 Lankershim Blvd.

and KITT was stolen. There was a gas station in the background. Anyone knows
the location of this phone booth?

Mark,
K.I.T.T. Vs K.A.R.R. filmed at two separate locations along Highway 126. I believe "Location #2" (as per the Production Company's maps) is the site of K.A.R.R.'s destruction. A lot seems to have changed in that area since the 80s. Indian Dunes, which was one of Knight Rider's most popular filming locations (used in "Sky Knight", "Buy Out", "Knight of a Thousand Devils", "Mouth of the Snake", and many more) is gone, as is its airstrip.
Following the map, you get to the area I've attached. There is still a bridge there, and I think that this is the bridge that the armoured car drives across (and that, through the magic of special effects, K.A.R.R. brings down). The wasteland around it is most likely the area used for K.I.T.T. and K.A.R.R.'s duel.

Don't know what's wrong with me today -- the map clearly shows that the creek is on the Walnut/Chiquito side of Henry Mayo Drive. The other bridge looks more like the one in the episode though.

Knight Rider Archive , Thank's for posting those pics. However, I don't see either of those bridges. Can you get closer, possible different angles? In the episode I see a white fence at the top of a hill above and behind KITT, and some telephone/electric poles.

Mark,
Here is the Birds Eye View of the K.A.R.R. location again, but this time I've highlighted the areas shown on the map:
The area in square A is the creek where Michael and K.I.T.T. confront K.A.R.R., and where K.A.R.R.'s remains were scattered. The area partially obscured in circle B is a bridge, although it doesn't appear to resemble the bridge in the show (which could have been entirely special effects and miniature). That doesn't rule it out as the bridge that we see the armoured car
approach in the show.

We've already seen that Konrad Mars had a room at the Sheraton Universal in Lost Knight. Judging from Bonnie's surveillance photos, it looks like he also holed up at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn!

Another multi-episode location:

/
Knight of the Chameleon
This is the courthouse complex as seen from the third season episode "Knight of the Chameleon". It's the site where the Chameleon escapes from custody disguised as the Judge, and Michael and K.I.T.T. are called in and pursue him...

They pull out from the parking space above, head out of the parking lot and speed southward down Rockwell Canyon Road:

I didn't realise this until I started to investigate the place on MSN Maps, but the location also featured in five other episodes! The main complex doubled for the Englehart Weapons Centre in Season 1's "Deadly Maneuvers":

...and as Mark Taylor's stadium and headquarters in "Knights of the Fast Lane", in the third season:

Turns out that this is also one of the most sought-after locations we've all been searching for. It's other Knight Rider appearance -- from a completely different angle -- was as F.L.A.G. headquarters used in the reconstruction of K.I.T.T. in "Junk Yard Dog", also in the third season. This episode used three of the large parking lots at the north end of the property:

See this is why the ability to air drop KITT (the C-130 in the TV movie) is good for Knight Rider. KR will now have international locations. They can show KITT running around the streets of Paris for example.
