Unknown Hasselhoff movie coming to DVD
Yesterday's Daily Variety reported that a new company, Smore Entertainment, has acquired 50 titles including an unnamed movie with David Hasselhoff:
" Music and DVD industry veteran Amy Schorr has created a new company called S'more Entertainment....Sherman Oaks-based S'more has licensed over 50 titles and three TV series for DVD and more than a dozen CD titles...Titles coming this year including movies featuring Traci Lords, Jim Varney, and David Hasselhoff."
My guess is that the DVD will be one of David's made-for-TV movies, or maybe one of his early films. (Starcrash, anyone?) But I really don't know.

Starcrash would be my bet.
I'll bet we'll get more Hasselhoff movies on dvd now, after the success of Spongebob and his subsequent kitsch value...

I saw it on tv here as a kid, and I recall really enjoying it. It was one of those blatant attempts to cash in on Star Wars, and the fact that Michael Knight was in it helped (even if he wasn't Michael Knight!, hadn't even become Michael Knight at that stage, and had the equivalent of three Michael Knight haircuts on his head).

I have the movie StarCrash I bought off Ebay with David H- its really old from the 70s and not that great. I just got the new movie of his Cowboys Run and its really too silly. I liked David better during the Knight Rider days for sure, with a good mix of serious and then the funnier clips with K.I.T.T., etc.
