Easily my least favorite episode, lol. But, it is indeed on there.peter wrote:Is "let it be me" the episode were michael joins the band and sings with Cathrine Hickland the two three songs from his album night rocker?
Or which episode/season is that?

Extras
Perhaps any extras are being held back and will be released with an all four seasons box set after all the remaining individual seasons have been released with no extras. They can make more money doing this, not that I'm cynical in any way

I don't think Universal would choose to do that. The reason most television shows are released on DVD season by season is for a couple of reasons:
1) They want to make it affordable for the general public ($60.00 per season officially); a box set of all seasons would cost in excess of $240.00. They know something that expensive isn't exactly going to sell as well as cheaper individual seasons one at a time. Movie sequel box sets are a different story here, as they have usually no more than four movies in a franchise (USUALLY) and each movie is worth $20.00 tops plus bonus features.
2) They only remaster one season at a time and worry about all licencing issues or bonus feature concerns as they go along. In my opinion they should remaster ALL seasons and get the rights for every song in every episode BEFORE anything is released at all. This way they can keep up with their "momentum" and release each season at any pace they want.

I noticed this announcement a bit late but it´s still great to read that Season 2 will be released on DVD (Thanks a lot Universal)! I didn´t read all the other posts in this thread but is that April 12th the release date of just USA or will the boxed set be released in Europe or in the other parts of the world the same day? If not, do any of you know when the Knight Rider Season 2 Boxed Set will be released in Europe? Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I just read some more posts in this thread and I found the Season 2 Boxed Set release date in Europe. According to the post it was July 15th and according to that same post Season 3 will also be released later this year. That´s great! I couldn´t believe the Season 3 Boxed Set be released so quickly after the Season 2 but it´s still great!

I wonder if the music licenses gotten for dvd:s now will include permissions for future formats, such as Blu Ray and/or HD-DVD or do they have to get them all over again if they want to release them in future formats?
It's great that 2nd season and 3rd season are coming so quick but I hope the music is original and it would be nice to have even some extras.

From what I'm reading, there won't be any extras at all on the 2nd season DVD set. That's a disappointment. However, I'm still looking forward to getting the set. Just a couple more months...Alex T. wrote:I'm looking foward to this. The one thing that pissed me off about Season 1 is that they didn't include any bloopers. I know there is blooper footage out there, they just chose to omit it. Hope it gets added into Season 2.

I pre oredered mine from store4dvd.com
I never knew about the site when the first season arrived,
I have used it and I am happy with it.
I have noticed that you can get season one in Canidian or usa version,
They say on there site that some Canadian dvd's have french text on and that is the only diffrence.
At this time they don't know if season 2 that I have pre ordered is Usa or canada.
Does anyone know if the season one canidain version was had frensh text?

I generally buy mine from Best Buy or somebody else locally. Generally their pretty close in pricing and while were all KR fanatics not everyone is so there's plenty of them on the shelves. Honestly I hope the price drops like Miami Vice Season 1 did. The cheapest I found online was 35.00 and Best Buy had it for 32.00 the day it came out. Made me a happy camper
