Hi,
On March 17, 2005 "Knight Rider - Season One" will finally be released in Germany. For this reason we published a special on our web site (http://www.david-hasselhoff.com) including all facts, screenshots, multimedia and much more. You can even win two Knight Rider-DVDs (special thanks to "NBC Universal Pictures" / Germany).
Good luck!

I know that they wanted to run a test first whether "Knight Rider" sells on the German market or not. That's the reason why Universal released "The Best Of Knight Rider" about one year ago - and that DVD-set run very well over here.
By the way, our DVD-box looks much bigger than yours! :-) Check this out:

Wow! Big box indeed.
I think the reason for that is because other regions, specifically Europe, got more discs in their sets. Here in the US we got 3 double-sided discs and 1 standard disc, equalling seven sides of playable media.
In Europe I think all the discs are standard discs, meaning (assuming the content is the same) you get seven actual discs, hence the bigger box.

You are right. The box contains 8 single-sided discs, but the content is equal to the US-box.
