Corgi KITT Model
Hey, does anyone here have the Corgi Kitt Die Cast? I'm interested in buying it, and if you have it, can you tell me if its good quality or not? I also wanted to know if the scanner on the model is any good. I heard it moves and am hoping its good quality. Thanks for the help guys.

Hi
I have a KITT. I havent got it out of the box but in looks its great.
Though the hub caps are wrong and by what i can see the scanner is a single red block.

Thanks, I'm curios, how do you activate the scanner on the Corgi? Is there a switch or does it light with movement?

Hi
ive got one of them too, mine's out of the box and on my knight rider shelf with my other kr stuff.
the scanner works with the speed of the wheels, i took it apart to see how it works, its on like a little roller type device, so when you push the car forward it makes it move, quite clever. the faster you push KITT the faster the scanner moves.

I have a Corgi model KITT, and IMO the scanner
moves way too fast. If KITT's actual scanner
moved that fast in the TV series, it would
surely "deplete KITT's batteries." (!)

Hehe, i see your point, but nontheless, can't wait till i receive mine... The car looks awesome in all the pics, I'm hoping it will look just as good when i get it..Personally I really cannot stand the KITT models that have KNIGHT RIDER written on them in red. They completely ruin the look of it, so thank god this one doesnt have it...

Hey DJGM or Newcastle, lemme ask you, how is the interior on these models...Is it anything KITT like, or is it a standard Trans Am interior...Thanks

Hi there
For once the interior is a pretty good representation of KITT. Its got the curved dash with a stickers neatly applied for the monitor and various consoles including KITT's voice box. The windows are a nice tint so you can make out all the detail in the car. The only minor little error is that the sterring wheel is upside down.

yeah, corgi have an eye for detail on this one, the dash is excellent considering its size, the seats arent the PMD one's with the open headrest but the interior is tan.
