If kitt would become another kind of trans am what kind of trans am would you want it to be? I would like it to be the last ones that were made.

I would insert another category in there... Trans Ams fall into four "Generation" categories:

1st: pre 1970
2nd: 1970-1981 (Smokey & The Bandit)
3rd: 1982-1992 (KITT's era)
4th: 1993-2002

I'd want KITT to be based upon the most recent Trans Am.

Does anyone have any pics? I don't really have a idea what all these cars look like... But I saw a nice white hard top 82 trans am last week!

Anyways, Ive always wondered what kitt would look like as a funny car with the red scanner. I wonder if anyone else has wondered this.

Cool... Thats Army_F_Body, don't worry, I have DSL :D Anyhow, I am not sure. I love the 3rd gen. But the 4th is pretty cool. I think I would only want a 3rd gen if it was a KITT. As for a car I would want now, not as a KITT. Then the 4th... I can't say.

After I'm done with KARR I want to get an '80-'81 Turbo Trans Am to fix up. After that maybe a 2002 Raptor Firehawk.

It's my goal to somepoint own one model for each generation of Firebird :D

i like the 1999 trans ams.. the deep purple ones with black tops.. convertibles.. if i win the lottery i'm gonna buy one. i'm already jealous of nat's black trans am, which i'm currently working up a plan to "borrow" it.

KITT ;)
Lady: "I bet you're tall, dark, and handsome."
KITT: "I'm definitely dark and handsome, I'm only tall when I'm climbing a steep incline."

I would have to say the third picture of the car is the best looking. That one comes closest to looking like KITT. The second picture looks more like the V8 Interceptor Mad Max drives. Not exactly, but at least what it's trying to be.

I say 4th but I noticed something.

Since the 3rd generation is a sports car it looks like something that could jump (or at least looks cool jumping). While it doesn't really look like it could go through walls.

The 4th generation, on the other hand, is a muscle-car, and wouldn't look quite as good in the air, but looks like it can definately smash through a wall.

Just something to think about...
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"
