Kitt as an 80's camaro

Post by Knight Racer » Thu Aug 30, 2018 12:51 am

Anyone ever wonder what kitt would have looked like had he have been an 80's Camaro instead of an 80's trans am / Firebird?

Well I did buy a small HotWheels 80s camaro and paint it black with red once. Does that count?

Only if you post a picture of it.

Back in the old days when I had the Geocities web page, used to have edited pic of 3rd gen Camaro as KITT there. When I have time, I'll have to look my backups if I could find it and post it.

It wouldn't work. The Trans Am fit it Perfectly.

Well, haven't found it, but decided to make a new photo using a Hotwheels 1/64 scale 3rd gen Camaro.
This is inspired from artwork in a Finnish magazine "Seura" in issue 21/1984, when they released the Knight Rider Trust Doesn't Rust novelization as a continuing story in the magazine (issues 21 - 24/1984), translated in Finnish of course.
My pic is just a pale, very simplified replication of the real artwork, but for copyright reasons, I don't think I can post the actual drawing from the magazine.
Anyway, here's my CamaroKITT:

I remember as a school kid in 1984, that story was very exciting to read :)

i totally agree with you, although the 2010 camaro would have been nice for kitt though.

The Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was, is, and Always shall be the best choice they made for KITT and KARR.
