New Hot Wheels KITT

Post by MR2NR » Mon Nov 26, 2012 11:14 am

Just released pics from THunted show the next series of Hotwheels 1:64 KITT in the entertainment series. These are elite cars with bigger cards and should have metal on metal and real rider (rubber) tires. Should be about 4-5$ each.

They are also doing the Mystery machine and Ecto1.

The pictures they show are only sample photos and not a real indication of the actual models used.

So not rubber tires? Is the com con edition metal on the base? I never ordered the 40$ Comicon and should have has they where giving out KARRS if you ordered two at the same time 80$+ OUCH. But ya if this is the same car as Comicon It will be disappointing but Ill still get one. I just couldn't shell out 40$+ for a 64th. But will get the 18th :).

For people outside of USA or Canada you have to buy it from ebay or somewhere like that as the HotWheels people don't ship anywhere else.

That definitely looks like the Comic Con 2012 1/64 KITT, only without the turbo boost diorama talking base. I already have it, but I don't mind getting another KITT alongside KARR and keeping them in the packaging.. Very nice packaging as well! Are they out yet?

Here's mine... The Comic Con version on its own without the exclusive talking base etc.. And yes, rubber tyres..

With the regular 1/64 Hot Wheels KITT...

haven't got mine yet, it is still in the post, but from this youtube video it appears to be set down too low, same location as the mainline version

Haha.. Thats my video!

Yeah, the scanner is still too low, its due to the mold of the car, and its the same mold as the regular release KITT but with better looking wheels and rubber tires with threads! Also a black painted dashboard with the same decals I think to that of the regular HW 1/64 KITT. It seems the steel area where the scanner is supposed to be is too thick, which is why the scanner looks really low..

Still, its the best looking 1/64 KITT car you can buy now and I highly recommend it for Knight Rider fans and collectors. Just make sure you don't spend anything over US$20 for it. I believe it retails for US$9.99. With that, I think Hot Wheels did a good job on it... Really looking forward to their 1/64 KARR!
