My 1/8 KITT ..about the louvers of 1-2 seasons

Post by littecaser » Sat Jul 07, 2012 7:31 am

Dear members

Some of you already know, but I am working on my 1/8 scale KITT replica now and is about to complete within next few weeks.

Now, I have a question for you.

Ho many numbers of front nose louvers are correct in KITT on 1-2 seasons ?

I think that 1-2 seasons KITT has 3 louvers in his front nose.

Is that correct ?

And as for my 1/8 KITT, please check my youtube channel below.

I believe there are 3 louvers on each side.

Only season one had the louvers or grills as some call them. Season 2 featured the open
nose look as the later seasons did.

From Season 1, Knight of the Phoenix, I count 2 louvers, three foglights:

Thank you guys !!

I decided to make my model with two louvers on each side.

I hope that the model will be finished till the end of this month.

Wow your model looks awesome!! Tried to do the grilles to my 1/18 KITT but didn't manage to make them smooth enough as they're very small in this scale. Also the way I tried to make them was probably wrong, tried to make them as one peace each side but would've been simpler just to make each "rod" as separate peace.

Your 1/18 looks also great!!

I know that 1/18 scale is too small for making accurate louvers.

My one is now on the final phase of adjusting microchips for oprating electorinics.

I am very sorry that many people are arguing about new coming 1/18 KITT....

We can make our favorite KITT ourselves by using some base model.

It takes time and much money but I think it`s best way for us.

Everybody can have a chance to have our favorite special made scale model KITT.
