I can't tell you how relieved I was that its NOT the car pictured on the back of the packaging with the really bad closed up looking SPM mode (but I guess I should have expected it was coming from the same mold as KARR) I'm very happy with this version and think I will go pick up another one to open and display!

WOW My TRU doesn't even have them in their inventory system !!!

Best chance for me is the SPM KITT for $15 at my local comic shop :?

All my local TRU tell me they can order them for me and ship to home for free! Might want to try that or you can order direct from Toys R Us.com only $9.99 :kittside:

Don't let them fool you! You have to pay for shipping up front unless you buy something else in the store that day and they will knock $5 off your total receipt. That free shipping they speak of means you have to make a return trip to toys r us with the shipping label and they will give you a $5 gift card. So really its not free shipping, since in the end you just end up giving that $5 to Toys R Us regardless. Its obviously still a better deal then ordering from the website but just saying.

Mine had 4 left so I bought another one to place on my desk prnter.Unfortunatly as I was placing the dash back one of the decals flipped off never to be seen again. Not that I liked the interior anyway since the overhead console had no decals at all,the dash was season 2 but the monitors wer season 3 single monitor.I wanted to have one i could leave without screws to take apart but the front bumper screws were fascined too tightly.

taking the body shell off and removing the dash (it slips off of 2 outer pegs on the car's body easily) makes applying the decals that much easier (had the same thing had to happen with the Delorean one). like ken says, I am glad its not just the SPM car with all the stuff retracted it looks like the only thing it shares with the SPM car and KARR in the pics is the doors and the chassis and wheels/tires and interiors.

I took apart the body from the undercarriage and dash too its just the front bumper was hard to disassemble.its as i snapped the dash back.into place i realized the decals weren't that sticky.

I'd love the set, but unfortunately it doesn't look like these will hit Canadian stores. D'oh!
