Ya I have been searching non stop since I seen KITT was on the 2012 release list. The thing is that people that have KITT now are buying the HW case directly form Mattel right now for 70$. They then list all the newest HW on Ebay for crazy prices. Finding these at your local Wal Mart right now is pretty slim but trust me he will make an appearance before June and I doubt he will be in limited quantities as the BTTF Delorean and A-Team vans where pretty plentiful around me but the Ecto-1 and Batmobile where a little harder to find but can be found if you just are diligent.

He is a G Case Mix and as I posted on another thread he should be with a Silver Lamborghini and black indy car.

So keep hunting!!! I will def post as soon as I find him on the shelf.

But if you are just to anxious like I am get one of these going so you can keep KITT nice and warm.

i am having a hard time finding the A-Team Van, i been to a couple of Toys R Us, Targets, Walmarts, Kmarts and still nothing. I still need the Ecto 1, but i know i would have to purchase that at a Toy Show or something.

I have the Batmobile and BTTF delorean

As stated before he is a G Mix release so he should just now be rolling out from Mattel. It takes some time if your local store doesn't move many HWs. As they have to move all of there old stock before they can order more. If the store bought a ton of E or F cases and nobody buys them then they can skip G and go right to H!!!! So you have to hunt at more than one store :). BTW WalMart just dropped the price nationwide from 1.07 to .97. So that's good news for us :).

I found one (literally one) in a Target. It's not as good as the one they released in Japan, but its better than paying $80 on eBay. Sorry for the low quality pics, but all I had was my phone. They still show what it looks like, though.

The wheels are the stock, 5 spoke rims Hot Wheels uses on most o their cars. Kind of distracting.

The roof panels they left clear for some reason.

And the scanner bar is only visable from the top down, like it's painted on the plastic undercarriage before assembly.

Nice face, nice figure, two more legs and you'd look like Trigger.

Thanks, I did catch this info, but I guess I should mention that they have been showing up in other stores with in the past few days per my circle of facebook friends. Never hurts to keep an open eye even if its a bit early :good:

THE HUNT IS ON!!!! Can't believe you took it out of the package though lol but thanks!! Had no idea they used a targa cast. If you could can you post the cast ID from the top back of the package if you still have it. Should start with V. Congrats!!!!

I picked a couple of them on ebay, got them for under 30 a piece, one is staying in package and the other I have started modding (new rims, interior detail etc and so on) I agree with rydon1981, the japanese one is far better, but I kinda like the t-tops on this one, with a little tweeking they could look quite good and realistic.

Sorry, don't have the package. I took it out because I race Hot Wheels with my 10 y/o nephew. He's got a ton of them and always takes the best ones for his team, so I had to build my own fleet. KITT, The General Lee (not Hot Wheels, ERTL), The A-Team van, DeLorean Time Machine, Magnum P.I.'s Ferrari 308 (anyone noticing a pattern here? :D ).
Nice face, nice figure, two more legs and you'd look like Trigger.

If it's out now then what number do they have on the card to know what to look for?
