The Hoff at this event this weekend

Those are great shots, Jen!

But she isn't sharing the full story of the day. Hasselhoff's father Joe lives in a former California Mission which is now a beautiful assisted-living facility. They are celebrating their 85th anniversary, and threw a 1920's party. David wanted to do something special for the event, and he talked to his bodyguard Joe about putting together a car show. Joe called Jen (IHeartKITT) and asked if she could put together a show... with three days notice.

And she definitely did! I think there were about 17 vehicles with some VERY old classic cars in stunning condition. Jen had her KITT there, and there was also Bumblebee, Herbie, and a Smokey & the Bandit Trans Am. It was a great collection in a beautiful setting.

The mayor spoke briefly to the residents and guests inside, and then David Hasselhoff took the mic with his dad and they essentially did a 5-minute stand-up routine. David would ask his father about what it was like living in the mission. It was very funny, and David was great at putting the focus on his father. Hasselhoff Senior is not a performer, but David made sure he looked good.

Afterwards, David went outside by KITT to sign autographs. Jen's KITT won the "People's Choice" award at the car show, and Hoff's bodyguard won "Best In Show". Joe's car is behind KITT in this shot:
