Yeah, great article, except that Michael Scheffe was responsible for KITT's design and George Barris only deserves credit for the SPM car, right?

Looks like there's a bit of debate going on in the article's comments section regarding the Black Beauty from The Green Hornet, and who really created it. :roll:

Knight Rider is hardly mentioned in the audio clip. The article does briefly mention K.I.T.T., but only in the context of saying that America is in love with the automobile. So, once again, another instance where it's implied Barris created K.I.T.T., but not actually said. And that's how these misrepresentations have mostly skated under the radar all these years. Nevertheless, I'd let this one slide since he did work on versions of K.I.T.T.

But really, for me, the interest comes in which cars are properly credited and which aren't, not the man's legacy of the cars he is actually responsible for, unfortunately...
