knightfever wrote:To be honest, yes Victor, my son does watch both the old and new Knight Rider series. And one of the things I was disappointed in, though there were many, was the use of "skin" instead of plot. We live in a world where "sex sells" and I understand that is Hollywood's main focus. In all fairness, I never said the pictures were pornography, and you are right, if I don't want to see it, I shouldn't look at it. In this case, I had no choice. I was doing my daily visit to KRO and saw a forum labeled "HighSpeedMag photo shoot with KITT" and I looked to see a KITT replica. As I went down the list of pictures, I saw more and more skin. You did state that there should have been a disclaimer, and I appreciate that, and would have appreciated there being one. I'm not a prude. I love women and I am married to a great one. I try to honor that commitment to her by not tempting myself into thoughts about anyone but her. Again, I did not mean to offend anyone. Look through all of my past posts and you will see this is the one and only time I've had a "complaint" about anything on the forum. I love everything about Knight Rider and love this community. I didn't mean to stir anything up.
- Dave - Fair enough and I thank you for your honesty. Since the women aren't holding weapons, flipping off the camera, or whatever, the only "offensive" thing that could be perceived in this case from said photos has to be sexual in nature - therefore the reference to pornography as that is the most common "concern" that is raised when women expose themselves regarding parental concern and exposure to such media to their children. Sex does sell and so does violence - two aspects of human instinct we all share. The lines between what is acceptable as "PG" or "PG-13" have become greatly blurred in our modern age, even in animated properties for kids.

As far as the rest of the commentary that disagrees with my opinion, in the interest of peace amongst the community, I will agree to disagree and leave it at that. Regardless of who is right or who is wrong, action was taken to resolve the matter and I'll respect that resolution accordingly.

The photos weren't my thing and seemed to cross a line of comfort for alot of people. That said, I do agree that we Americans seem to have alot more hangups and prudery about showing a little bit of skin than we do about showing violence and even gore. Are beautiful women really that much more of a threat to our children and the fabric of society than guns, bombs, terrorists, murderers, etc? Perhaps a little perspective is on order.

With Karr on location, finding out that he rebuilt himself again,he would have to supervise the photosuit and then aprehend him.

Neil and Matt,

I know that you are friends of Alex, because I did not like seeing the photos he posted here in the forum, because when we were small and very young we like seeing very much the adventures and the fiction of the Universe of the car KITT in the series television Knight Rider and also stars David Hasselhoff, Edward Mulhare, Rebecca Holden and Patricia McPherson also and many others.

I only hope that you understand is that the Alex posted the photos here in the forum is unacceptable.
Thank you for your attention.

Sincerely,

Alex

KITT was too busy to notice KARR. KARR had a lady admirer as well.

Wasn't Michael Knight a ladies man? Was there many episodes where Michael didn't kiss a woman, or there were innuendos that he is/was with a woman? Wasn't there skin in "Topaz Connection"? Wasn't there even a centerfold picture of KITT with a woman on his hood? I don't see how these pics differ from that episode.

Great pics, seems like I have to buy the magazine...lol
