The car in that new movie..

Post by Iconen » Thu May 29, 2003 1:58 pm

I think that it could be Corvette. I made some manipulation and the result is kind of like this: The pictures but I prefer the coupé model or that other one.

If you have the rights of these pictures and you have something against my modifications e-mail me to iconen@mbnet.fi and I will erase the pictures ASAP.

Its best to email the webmaster of the website your taking the pictures from, before making any changes to pictures they host. As its a bit late now tha you have changed them.

As just a creative process where he isn't using them to formulate his entire site design, it should be okay if he edits the image. If he's trying to promote something then he should contact them. But we shouldn't try and hinder creativity.

Just my $.02

Yeah I thought that my self too because I'm not earning with those pictures and I'm not taking any advantage of them like you said but I think that it's better to make it right.

Looks like he got the pictures from a car dealer ad. I seriously doubt they would give two shiz-nits about it.

there's lots of new movies..

that'd be like me asking neil if he knew that one guy in that one movie. :P

I mean't that Knight Rider 3000: The Return of Michael Knight (2002) working title. And my intention was to show that what would be the corvette look like if it's the one which is going to be the car of that new movie.

I'm waiting the e-mail from the car dealer if he doesn't answer to me I'll assume that he doesn't give a s**t about my actions.

I changed the tail light "perspex" from matt finish to reflecting one. :)

Just so you know, the working title is simply: "Knight Rider: The Movie"

And I just assumed that since he's on a Knight Rider message board, he was talking about the Knight Rider Movie. :P

Yea, I know where you got it from. Word of friendly advice, take anything you get there with a grain of salt. That place is often wrong because it gets its information from people who submit it, without checking on accuracy.

That name was mentioned in the press once, however they are now referring to it as simply "Knight Rider: The Movie"

my oppinion

Post by Iconen » Thu Jun 05, 2003 8:22 am

The one and only KITT is Pontiac Trans Am what they used in the good old series. I just wanted to show that what the corvette could look like. The car in that Knight Rider 2000 was a mistake It's so ugly. My oppinion is that they should use that good old Trans Am but if not rather the Corvette than that disgusting Knight Rider 2000 car.

I like the pics Iconen. They look real cool if he realy was going to be a corvette.Only problem I have is that its a convertible top thats made of cloth.Which is the same problem I had with team knight rider.Jenny drove a red mustng which had no top. When they went into battle all she did was roll up the windows and hope it would hold like in the magnifacent tkr episode.I'm pretty sure the corvette must be a hard top with t-tops.Maybe make it a convertible hard top like in the 4rth season that would be cool.

2 pics more.

Post by Iconen » Fri Jun 06, 2003 7:39 am

I added 2 pics more front.jpg and rear.jpg

I like the pictures and I think that these are better than the old ones
and yes this corvette is hard top model (Z06). I don't know if the coupé model is better. What is your opinion ?

I don't think that it's going to be a problem because they can always put some longer springs to the car. Or they can put some powerful air springs which will smooth the drop or jet engines to bottom of the car.

at least kitt's body style is not draging on the ground! if that is the car they are using in the movie it will not be worth the trip to see the movie....the movie will be nothing....end of story

Everybody has their own opinion. The old KITT is great the way it is but it was then at the 80's that time has passed over they've got to create something new because if they use that old model it could look obsolete against civil cars. The car looked awesome at that time if you compared it with the other cars in that show but we live the present time now so the old model could look weird. The new car could spoil the whole idea and maybe they shouldn't make that movie at all and let the 80's serie to be a legend.
