Our own Episode 18

Post by Sue » Mon Jun 01, 2009 2:28 pm

I just had an idea, could be fun. We will come up with our own Knight Rider episode. Only catch is you can only write one sentence at at time, so who knows where the story might end up. I'll start.

It’s a dark and rainy night, a gruff man watches as cargo is unloaded from a ship.

With a cane in his hand and an empty space where his left eye would be, the distinctive rumble of a high powered diesel engine bellows from within a large crate bearing the symbol of the Pan African Liberation Movement.

While the Camera pan's from a crane, you see the shot go from the top of the crates down to between the legs of the same one eyed man, you see the cane between his legs, when the crate opens, revealing the headlights of a large vehicle, shining, forming the outline of the man even more so.
"To our future. No matter who it may take us up against or where"

From the side of the headlights, the silhouette of a tall, slender, shapely woman appears, wearing black pants, black high-heels, a black button down shirt, black leather gloves and a long black leather overcoat, who, without seeing her face, we see approach the one-eyed man, who in turn hands the woman an envelope, and she says in response, in a low, but firm voice, "consider it done," then abruptly turns and walks back towards the headlights.
Bring Knight Rider back for Season 2!!

Slowly, we cut to the Los Angeles skyline as the sun rises, revealing a black Mustang as it travels through the steel and glass metropolis, and begins to approach an old, yet familiar mansion that the car, the Knight Industries Three Thousand, and its driver, Michael Knight Jr. have never seen before.

Mike eyes the rundown mansion and turns to the globe eye of his Mustang friend, “KITT are you sure this is the correct address, it doesn’t look like anyone has been here in years.”

"Im sure michael, this is the address Sarah gave me."
KI3T: "I have something we need to discuss. It's important."
Mike: "Dude, It's been a really long day and if you're secretly falling in love with me, I'm going to be awfully upset"

"KITT, it looks like no one has lived in here in 30 years." Mike complained as he looked at the grown over underbrush coming straight out of the circle driveway.

Hidden behind the debris of a large fountain at the center of the driveway, a black Trans Am sits elegantly amongst the mire, emitting the familiar red glow of a bygone era, whilst its driver, a spitting image of the man from the dock, sits on the vehicles hood wearing a pair of heavily tinted sunglasses.

As he walks up the driveway Mike spots the man and breaks into a smile, "Dad? No way..don't tell me.. is that museum piece your car?"

Before the Mustang can respond though, Michael points at the Trans Am’s scanner, and smiles slightly as the look on Mike’s face turns to one of shock upon the realization that he’s just met the first KITT, the Knight Industries Two Thousand, a car that's etched into folklore as an urban legend.

Mike’s mouth still open and eyes still staring at the Trans Am, he mumbles out his words, “So why did you ask me to come to this old rundown place?”

"Can't I just have a meeting with my one and only son, without having any agendas?" Michael asked with a slight smirk.

Taking on a serious look, Michael points to the entrance of the mansion, where the silver haired man who raised his son as if he was his own, approaches the quartet, and lovingly places his hand upon the Mustang’s shell, as he notes... “A few months ago, I learned of a plot to kidnap me. I couldn’t involve you or Sarah due to the government involvement at Knight Industries, so I turned to the one man left in this world that I knew I could trust, and faked my own death so that we could work to find out who wanted me and why. Last night, we found out...”

KI3T gasped into Mike's earwig. "Is that my father?" and then sent a transmission to KI2T. "Our Father?"

Michael looks to Mike, and shakes his head... “Sorry pal, this old mansion is under a communications and satellite blackout thanks to KITT. Nothing comes in, and nothing gets out. We just can't risk Garthe getting wind of this."

Michael looks his son straight in the eye... “Garthe Knight, the leader of the Pan African Liberation Movement, former protégé of Tsombe Kuna, and the son of Wilton Knight, the man whose face I’ve shared ever since I was shot in the head at point blank range back in '82.”

Mike: So that involves me how? Michael: Garthe's supposed to be dead, and his truck Goliath turned into
a twelve-pack. But he's alive and he's got a new truck, a better, stronger Goliath. And he's workin on putting
AI in it. Mike: So how does Charles' miraculous resurrection play in? Don't tell me, Garthe wants him to do
what, put KARR's AI in the rig? Tell me where I come in. Charles: Mike, listen. Michael's been the only person,
till now, to know I'm alive. I contacted him, and we recovered the Knight 2000, rebuilt it, because they've
tangled with Garthe and Goliath. We need you and KITT, the 3000, that is, to help. And yes, we've got intel
that he possesses KARR's AI, and since I created it, you know the rest. One more thing, Sarah can NOT know
I'm alive, just yet, anyway.

Mike scratches his head, and turns to Charles... “So he wants you to plug KARR into this truck? How’s that even possible, I destroyed KARR out at Groom Lake?” Charles ponders the question for a moment, prompting Michael to interject... “What you destroyed was a military version of KARR, devoid of its own memory and personality. Garthe has the original KARR, which was programmed for self preservation, and took us to the limit three times before finally disappearing. If Garthe does manage to put that animalistic thing into Goliath, he’s going to make Red Bluff look like Disneyland.”

“A nuclear missile storage facility out in the Nevada desert” Michael replied. “Garthe used Goliath to steal six ballistic missiles.” Breaking into the conversation for the first time, KITT adds the final piece of pertinent historical information... “Had it not been for Michael and I, those missiles would have empowered one of the world’s most feared terrorist groups. As such, whatever Garthe has planned will have a devastating effect on global stability, should he prove to be successful.”
