Don Peake Interview

Post by Sue » Wed Apr 22, 2009 12:10 am

Don Peake was very kind to invite Mike and myself into his LA studio for a interview. Having done a bit of research before going I knew that Don had had a very exciting life, but I can't say I was expecting him to have had so many adventures before coming to work on Knight Rider. Check out part one and I'll have part two up shortly.

Thanks very much to Don for his hospitality.
Here again is his website if anyone is looking for further information or a copy of one of his CDs

Excellent job you guys! Don is such a class act and a wealth of interesting stories and experiences. I wish I had his memory!

And buy his CD's they're really worth it! Thanks Don for doing this!

Really nice work on the video, thank you :good:

Don is a cool guy, I produce music myself and its really interesting to hear his stories. I loved hearing about the synthesizers and tricks used to get certain effects. Its all computers now and makes a change to hear how it got done in those days.

Cant wait for part 2 :good:

Part two is up! I think this is my favorite part because he gets out his guitar. :D

A big thanks to Mike P, Neil and Solid Snake, and anyone else I'm forgetting who helped me think up questions.

Great job Sue and crew, as always Don is very candid about his experience in show business which is considerable.
The Man is a class act as Mike rightly points out, and I have all three of Don Peakes Knight Rider Cd's and they are a must have as well as The Hills Have Eyes.
As to how old he is? well all I can say about that is the way he was Rockin out at The Fremont Street Experience he made that of No Consequence my friend.

No worries Sue! :good:

Had some real PITA Internet connection problems. Finally it seems to be sorted for good now (fingers crossed) so just send me the audio when you can, I should be on IM later on this evening.
