Super Bowl Commercial??? I know this is pushing it but.....

I feel that the best way NBC could advertise KR is to show just a short commercial during the Super Bowl. Everyone just about watches the commercials during the Super Bowl and this promotion would help in some way if not significantly.

Come on NBC, get some commercials running and get people interested!

Well there's a difference b/w what's best for KR and what's best for NBC. For KR the best thing that could happen is for a commercial to air during each break. For NBC the best thing they could do is sell those spots to advertisers and promote more popular shows on their network like 30 Rock, Heroes, etc. So the later is what you're going to end up seeing. I think at best a quick 10 sec. KR promo is what we'll get.

5 minutes is a lot of time for something Knight Rider to air - even if it's a :10 clip. Tiki Barber is an analyst for the Superbowl coverage, so I'm sure some time during the day of coverage we'll see a commercial. Just for the episode and not one of these one off commercials that Heroes is doing.

This author might just be guessing, but here he lists KR commercials as number 5 of 43 reasons to watch the super bowl.

Hopefully it's good cmmercial, too. One that will make peopel watch KR. The preview they showed after the last ep was uninspired. I want it to show just KITT, but I guess Mike could be in there too.

The only reason I want to watch next weeks episode is for the scene where KITT's heling Mike do forensics. They should ahve made part of that the trailer... >_>

Mike and KITT are winding down a highway. Mike is "in the zone," feeding his face on chips and salsa, enjoying the game on a fully projected windshield

Mike is watching a play almost make it to a touchdown. But then, the next worse thing that could happens to him besides seeing his team lose. His face drops as he realized he just finished his bag of Doritos

Mike - "KITT, were you saying something?"

KITT - "Did the horse's trough come empty? Would the horsie like some more feed?"

Mike - "Ha..ha.." The announcer just stated a commercial break due to a time out. "KITT, plot me the shortest distance to a convenience store!"

The old fashioned version of the Knight Rider theme song starts. We see KITT's windshield working it's trajectory to a 7-11. KITT is moving at a ridiculous speed, and even turbo boosting over- bypassing a ramp leading on a connecting street. Onlookers are seen looking at this crazy Mustang whizzing by.

KITT - "Mike, do you believe you're above the law?"

Mike - "I can't miss this play, and I need those chips!"

Mike finally reaches 7-11, grabs the bag, and runs outside to catch KITT's holo-projection of the next play receiving another time out!

KITT - "I'll be sure to look into making a protocol that we not work together during next year's game"

That is a good point. With Tiki barber in this week's episode and it being Super Bowl week I bet there is a good chance there is a Super Bowl commercial, but one that focuses on the TikI Barber aspect.
