I loved them both...Now I have to choose???

Ummmm...I guess the new one. It has a lot of scenes from the shows to date and I love that.

I do not like the way the words "Knight Rider" fly in from the top of the screen in the new version - Looks like it was an afterthought effect stuck on in Windows Movie Maker! AWFUL!

I did have quite a soft spot for the earlier titles but guess I'll need to see the new ones a few more times - particularly when they've killed off half the cast members who NOW appear in them...

I like the new one better, but I believe that credits will be changed again soon.

And did anyone notice that Smith Cho is NOT on the new opening credits?

I prefer the new one, does'nt look like just a bunch of clips thrown together like the first one did.

I hear that the intro's for the next two episodes will be different also, so I assume we will have 4 intro's all together.

Perhaps the final one minus the three cast members will be kept.

I'm really hoping the desert driving scene comes back to tie in more with the original series, now they are going back to that format.

I also noticed that but I think that is down to the fact she is still listed as a Guest Star, not a full-time member such as Justin/Deanna etc....but maybe that will change after ep 13?

while i liked the new opening credits, the only thing i didnt like was that they had kitt being blown up in the beginning. kitt should always for the most part be looked at as powerful. unless in the episode when he is up against a foe, but not in the opening credits. although, thats just my personal opinion. other than that, the new credits are pretty solid. i assume once the three cast members are out, and one gets replaced by zoe, i think they'll be more room for more kitt. although, i would like the music changed back to more of the original. the much has grown on me, but i think i still prefer the original. there's a youtube edit that has an updated intro which i think is awesome.

I voted for the "new" one but it's going to change a couple more times, how significantly I don't know but removing cast members is something obvious.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great! :skar:

I prefer the new intro a lot better than the old series intro apart from clips at 0:06 to 0:10. The parts when kitt gets blown up and the flashy bits afterwards. Everything else is a lot better!

Cant wait for the new intros to come!

Definitely the new intro. And I suspect it'll only get better as the three cast members leave and free up space to experiment.

I wish they could somehow extend the theme. I think its quite short and i would really like a extended version but preferably not like the pilot version of theme, make the opening and first part longer.

You know what i mean?

I'm likin the new intro, w/ the actor's pic just b4 their name. It'll hafta be revised to reflect the cast reduction,
but still it is cool. I gotta agree w/ whoever's opposing killing off Charles. I think he's an important character
to the overall story of the series. And ppl gotta stop hating on Zoe. She's a riot, especially when she messes w/
Billy.

She hasn't ever been listed that I know of you just didn't notice it because now their are pics with the names.
I like the new one even though it will be changing again after episode 13 hard to imagine doing all that so close to having to do it again. But that is their jobs.(twentieth post for me!)

I've looked several times; is there a shot of KI3T firing his laser while driving, or is he being fired upon?
KITT: I walked right into that one, didn't I?
Michael: More like Turbo Boosted.

I quite liked the earlier ones too - more car and less everything else. I don't like the shots used for the cast. Also hate the title. Bad enough it wasn't particularly well highlighted in the first few intros (blink and you'll miss it), but now it's too much. I think I preferred it without the bling

Yeah but I think they did it for action purposes "hey look, this show's got explosions!" kinda thing. Not my cuppa tea.

That's KI3T as a Ford truck of some description firing from his laser.

The intro is good...except for the title coming in from the top of the screen.Reminds me of Windows Movie Maker. But the rest is good! :)

I liked this one too. It felt like there were a lot more quick little cuts, it made it feel more intense.

i had one minor problem with the 1st opening credit, is when KITT did a power slide to go off road and started its transformation into the truck, but didnt finish it, it cut after the front bumper came up.

haha
