It shouldn't be some licensed track such as those. Something original composed for the scene would be nice but I dunno if that's asking to much. It needs a movie feel to enhance it in a way a composer would.

They really need to have something orchestrated for this, in my opinion. Having popular music will just cheapen the scene. Music can make or break a film, and I think that inserting a full song would probably hurt the scene. Additionally, there's the issue.... *frowns, stops listening to Unbreakable* ...of licensing for any songs they have to use.

I'd really like to see something orchestrated - if they do use popular music, I really hope that it's because Mike turned it on in the car and it became background music.

I dunno....I want something epic when I watch the episode, not something like Power Rangers where they play the main rock 'n roll theme during the last fight. More like Don't Stop the Knight, less like...well, everything else. But that's just my opinion.

I agree; my vote is on orchestration. Of course, that could be because I'm an orchestral musician by trade- but we'll overlook that aspect.

I'm looking for something like "Arc Reaktor" on the Iron Man OST (Yes, Iron Man.) It has both hard rock and orchestra that meld together wonderfully as a composition. I especially like the death bells at the end however they are very hard to hear in this youtube version.
