The less we are reminded of that continuity of Knight Rider - the better!

But a nice touch that they did when doing the Second Gen' pilot is that as far as the writers were concerned: Knight Rider 2k and TKR never happened!

Kitt's kinda smugness when the guys were surrounding him in the parking lot "but can your car do this?!" sounds like something the original kitt would have said later on the the seasons.

The obvious michaels attraction to beautiful women
Booonnnnnzzzzaaaaaiii!!!!!!!! As michael turbo boosts to score the extra point. His face is so funny when he yells this and when he hits turbo boost his eyes get huge and he flies back into the seat

I personally felt that the whole thing was done rather poorly and swept under the rug in a matter of about 3 minutes. This same situation was the entire launching point of the original series. I understand they don't want to re-create the same events so much, but it was done way too quickly. Save it for the next episode to give it the proper amount of time if you're trying to cram everything into the first episode. By the way, what difference does it make to have Mike Traceur dead when HE STILL HAS THE SAME FACE?
“Gimme maximum turbo thrust and blast me outta here, will ya!?”
