Knight of the Juggernaut - that bruise!!!
Was watching this episode last night and only just noticed that the bruise on Michael's forehead from being injured after KITT was destroyed kept disappearing, changing places and coming back again. This was much worse than in the pilot episode when the gun shot on his shoulder was changing places. The problem with the bruise only really stopped once KITT was repaired and Michael was driving KITT again and there was quite a lengthy time span in between.
I know I should have noticed this long before now but I tend not to look for goofs as it takes me out of the movie/show I'm watching.

Theres plently more where that came from, continuity errors, phantom hands etc...If you ask me, it adds to the show, i mean you notice them but you dont notice them..if you know what i mean...I just accept it as part of the magic

You're on camera! Time to put those arms back behind the seat!

That's from Scent of Roses, right? One of my favourite episodes. I know this show is littered with goofs but when I see one, it always reminds me of the fact that I don't see it the same way as when I was little.Lost Knight wrote:Phantom hands? Universal could easily cover up at least half of these goofs with CG but then I guess that would be wrong to do.

Yes, those shots are from "The Scent Of Roses." I know at least the Season 4 DVD episodes are cropped (or at least the opening credit sequences are), but I agree other than polishing the picture, they shouldn't bother editing out some of the bloopers.Skav wrote:That's from Scent of Roses, right? In one of the episodes michael is getting out of kitt and when he is getting ready to shut the door you see a hand come from out of the back seat reaching out to the closing door almost like they are trying to stop the door from slamming.
Booonnnnnzzzzaaaaaiii!!!!!!!! As michael turbo boosts to score the extra point. His face is so funny when he yells this and when he hits turbo boost his eyes get huge and he flies back into the seat

I'm old and the eyesight is the second thing to go. (Hair is first.) I don't see the phantom hands. (Never was good at finding Waldo either.)

Well, not literally hands, but more like phantom arms. I was just quoting weeezl as it's all the same idea. It is a bit tough to see, but the stunt driver has orange sleeves and is covered in the back with a tan cloth.Michael Pajaro wrote:I'm old and the eyesight is the second thing to go. (Hair is first.) Re: Knight of the Juggernaut - that bruise!!!
Season 4 did a rather good job of "hiding" the stunt driver whenever KITT drove itself.
In the first 3 seasons, most of the time you did see the big "bump" behind the front driver's seat and then there was the switch shot when Michael was about to get into KITT after KITT stopped driving and there was another quick shot of Michael entering the car with the blanket and stunt driver gone.
I know there are a lot of people who immensely disliked season 4 but I thought it was the best from a technical standpoint.
I actually believe KITT DID drive himself when watching this season.
