New "Icon Reborn" promo?

Just saw it during a commercial break on Saturday Night's (I almost put a K there) Main Event. I wasn't paying too much attention, not sure what new footage there was, but I think there was or at least some dialog. KITT's voice sounded different, either a place holder and not Kilmer's, which at this point doesn't make sense or they've done some post tweaking to his voice. Or maybe they did nothing and just sounded different due to not paying much attention and it being a little noisy.

Looks good. That definately isn't Val's voice. Maybe his contract doens't include promos. lol

Maybe i'm hearing things that aren't there but to me it did sound like Val's voice although with some robotic tweaking. Annoyingly the promo had to many sounds going on as well to make it obvious (to me anyway) whether or not it is indeed Val or not

Although i would assume it is as i'm pretty sure it was him in the 'Yeah!..I'm Shiny', 'What too flashy' and 'Wait til you see my turbo boost' promos

The KITT voice in that promo sounds more KITT-like than Val Kilmer does!

Yeah, I'm sure that's the usual commercial voice and not Kilmer's... Strange that they don't have him doing these things, especially at this point. It's not going to do anything but confuse the hell out of the audience.

its the same voice they've been using on all the promos. for the "what too shiny" or "yeah, i'm flashy", this is the voice. i thought it was old voice footage from will arnett, but this doesnt sound like either will arnett or val kilmer, so i'm guessing its someone different. when they unveiled the new attack kitt, they had a different voice, i'm thinking this is the same guy. val kilmer probably just does the episodes. i like this voice, but if kitt is supposed to evolve, i can understand the monotone sounds of kilmer. hopefully his "ai" will become more human throughout the series, which is what i think they're going for.

None of the promo`s apart from the 1 min preview have had Kilmer in them, probably just someone they drafted in early or perhaps someone that had done some voice work for them , maybe an audition for the role of Kitt , who knows?

Just caught a commercial in HD during Sunday Night Football. I think it was only a :15 version of this. I'll host the HD file when I can pull it off after the game (don't want to stop the computer incase another appears)

Wow, I love the commercial KITT voice way better! I bet they would save tons of dough if they would use that guy whom ever he is. But I bet Kilmer is way to busy or he under contract and not replaceable unless NBC pays him off.
