Name of a song from a 3rd season ep....

In the very beginning of an episode called "Dead of Knight" from the 3rd season. It is the very first song that they play as the episode title shows up on the screen, does anyone know the name of that song and the artist?

Was it "rebel yell" by Billy Idol, or" torture" by the jacksons?

yeah it's Billy Idol "Rebel Yell". It's not my kind of music but I kinda like the beat

The actual song used in the episode is a cover of “Rebel Yell,” however, as most songs used in the series were.
“Gimme maximum turbo thrust and blast me outta here, will ya!?”

I never could understand why they used cover songs in all the episodes, if they got the rights to the songs why not use the original artists?

They did the same thing with "Ghostbusters" in Knights of the Fast Lane.
