Dude you got the coolest screen name on here. kudos on the rubbish ford ka, im getting worried after seeing the new 4 part KR ford advert with MT on a date and Kitt stalking, that the new (maybe) series, might just be a another big ford commercial. on the other hand its just the kind of humour id like to see injected into the new series.K.I.T.T wrote:LMAO! know i knew there was a reason i hadn't bothered with this show lmao... that looks perfectically awful!

How the hell could anyone justify this was a Knight Industries vehicle?

Thank you I never saw the episode so I wondered if it had any modifications but it looks 100% stock Ka. It might be fuel efficient car though to drive between home and work.Joe Huth wrote:

Really stupid question but... what the hell is a Ka? *

Re: Team Knight Rider Ford Ka screenshots?
The Ford KA is an actual production car made for the European market. It is still in production and is considered a sub-B-Car class car. To put it into context, CD class cars are like the Ford Fusion in the US, C-cars are Focus, B-car is the Fiesta (new Verve in the states) and this is smaller than that. Its just a tiny bit bigger than the Smart car.
The one shown on TKR looks to be a bottom of the range KA. No alloy wheels or body coloured bumpers.

...hope that link works

Re: Team Knight Rider Ford Ka screenshots?
Because in the last episode of TKR, that car was being completed to be shipped off to Europe for duty.knightofthephoenix wrote:How the hell could anyone justify this was a Knight Industries vehicle?
And I don't recall it being Knight Industries. My memory is a tad rusty, FLAG was a government agency. I have no recollection of KI even being mentioned.
Knight Alpha was named not only due to it being a ford Ka, but also as a tribute, I would guess to KITT/Michael Knight since the KA was the one man/one car team in Europe.

Seems abit stupid to pick the bottom of the carline within Ford Europe. We did also have the Ford Probe running around in the UK in the early 90's. It was the second generation model as shown on wiki:

Ironically, that would have looked the best of the TKR vehicles.....which is saying something!!!!

Silly TKR, they couldn't do anything right... Well besides KRO... KRO was awesome.
The new and again improved evil's advertisement is currently too long and too badass to display here. But let's just say that with now 50% more evil, this **** is great!

Yes. KRO was awesome. So, of course, they have to fool him into being destroyed.
I always guessed that KA was used for two reasons. 1) The real world name. 2) TKR was a form of Ford advertising on television. Now, whether the show truly appreciated this or not, I'm given the notion to the latter. Why else, would the writers throw in insults towards Ford and such lines wouldn't be filtered out? Perhaps, the choice of KA was another insult???

Re: Team Knight Rider Ford Ka screenshots?
That reminds me, that's a perfect car to use as KITT if they were to make a UK Knight Rider series. It looks perfect.
