Lets see if I can deceipher here.

The Opener, I have no idea what that is about.

Sammy's Return - Yeah, no.

Investigate ComTron? Why? The ComTron corporation did nothing wrong, they were infiltrated by Tanya and her gang and were ripped off. So investigating them would be pointless.

Another Bad Day at White Rock? Yeah, can we maybe think of doing original episodes for the fifth season? And why return to White Rock? That story was rather forgettable as it was, do we need to rehash it?

Pretty unoriginal fifth season I think. Can we think of newer ideas?

What about that:

I never understood why they put RCIII in the series, so i would start the 5th season like that

1/2. Deadly accident

Michael and RCIII are investigating to discover the persons which are part of the mafia. a man of the mafia discover surprises RCIII while his trying to find out something in a office. RCIII can hide, but he has a strange, and deadly, accident. Michael doesn't not believe that it was a "normal" accident and tries to find out more...

I know, it's not friendly to let RCIII die, but, at some point in most of actionseries one protagonist dies...

Let me know what you think about my idea of the start from the 5th series..
The Knight is back!

I like the idea of killing RC3 off. Adds drama and gets rid of an unnecessary cast member.

My idea -(overall ) is /was that the people whom infiltrated Comptron had to have not only an ajenda but long term, widespread goals and as with any law enhancement/augmenting/enforcement....the collection of villians, foes coalesce, conspire, against the Foundation...and in some way get backing, technical, personell -aka Marco Bario,Garths Mother,etc.... and a deep planted mole-in the foundation with access to equipment storage (stealing KARRs still functional core )....temporarily get the upper hand for a while....all while spying on Michael / KITT at various points...
and not just on the west-left coast...Mexico--Seattle...BUT all over....

Proposed Storyline for Season 5 Two-Hour Premiere:

Unbeknown to FLAG, the CIA have been developing and constructing their own super-car, far more deadlier and faster than KITT. Fitted with state-of-the-art computer systems, generations ahead of KITT's, and armed with actual offensive weapons, including machine-guns, cannons, rocket launchers, grenades and lasers, this brand-new, classified machine's creator is out to put FLAG under scrutiny, by proving that his car is what KITT should be by now. We also learn that this particular man was once on Wilton Knight's development team, but whose ideas and concepts were always opposed, and never given the chance.

This man also has friends in high places, with a select few of equally-ruthless and aspiring government and political figures, and they set out to have The Foundation For Law And Government down-graded into complete administration and decommissioning, but are stopped by superior authorities.

Instead, they decide to set-up a terrorist bombing at FLAG headquarters, bringing down the entire building and surrounding technical houses, and succeed in not placing themselves as suspects, due to hiring an elite group of mercenaries to carry out the assignment.

Unfortunately, Devon ends up in critical condition in hospital, on the edge of dying. Michael, Bonnie and RC are deeply emotional, but wake up to realise that, to save FLAG, and if he lives, protect Devon's position, they must bring down the underground government cartel responsible for this.

To do so, they escape in KITT and the Semi, making themselves fugitives of the law, when the police and FBI become highly suspicious of their sudden dissappearance...

Excellent idea! An entire season with Michael, Kitt and Bonnie on the LAM trying to dodge bullets from not only the bad guys, but also from every conceivable law-enforcement agency out there!!! their completely on their own, no financial backup, the semi could eventually break down... etc. etc...
You just opened up a world of possibilities! Knight Rider meets Prison Break season2.

The story even goes back to the basics: "one man (and his car) can make a difference"!!!

I LOVE IT! :D

I agree with StringFellow's opening episode story line. It's powerful, refreshing and would make one kick *&& of a restart to the series. Indeed, making it follow through as a sort of on-the-run plot line throughout the season is the way to go. But, to counter an additional suggestion...leave KARR out. KARR just wasn't that wicked. We need a new, government built AI that didn't have the safe guards that KITT did. One that is as dangerous as the weapons he/she/it possesses. Now, it might be interesting if what remains of the roague Foundation were to use KARR as a sort of ally, half way through season 5. (Remember, officially, KARR's CPU was never given a final destination. Fan fics have tied that loose end a hundred times over. But, what *really* happened to KARR's mind??? Did it just weather out there? Did the Foundation actually clean up the mess and store it away? Was it found? All we know is that it survived in operational condition. And, very likely, the "black box" had some sort of super Foundation battery that didn't just clunk out after a week. (Because, KARR was at the beach for how many months away from a plug or even starting the engine? And, in storage for how long before Tony & The Rev played Frankenstein with a switch???))

Now, while I never had a good season opener episode, I was plotting some interior episodes. Knight of the K.A.M.O. is useful for introducing a new, improved laser into KITT. (As well as uncovering more history and a new AI foe.)

Soon afterwards would come the episode where KITT has to make an Earth moving decision that defies his very governing laws...Kill a Human being in order to save his pilot, Michael Knight. The ending results would put KITT into a self destructive judgement...and a spark of insight into creating the next generation of Foundation technology to be Michael's partner. One that could protect him better.

Next episode, Bonnie is able to help cleanse this self judgement from KITT while the Foundation figures out what to do with this leap of advancement, simply called the Knight Industries Three Thousand. They finally decide that RC III, whom has kind of trained under Michael Knight, is the best pilot and April Curtis is returned to complete this second team...whom get their own Mobile Headquarters. This new team will only be seen as special guests in future episodes, since the camera continues to follow the adventures of Michael and KITT. (We also get to learn where the roots of the two TKR motorcycles come from with that morphing technology, as KIT3T has nearly three-quarters polymorphic metalic surface.)

Also, Foundation tech's will come up with an upgrade that Bonnie isn't fond of...the Foundation Jet Wing. It's basically an automated jet that can lift off without need of a runway, hover in mid-air and clamp down onto KITT and give him the ability to fly. (Given enough time to call from it's resting spot...probably on top of the Foundation's original Mobile Command Unit.) The tech's will be inspired to make this after KIT3T is met with the challenge of a record long jump...and field resolves that turbine thrust combined with metamorphic wings will equal flight. (All the while, RC III's heart probably feels like giving out as the car doesn't request his input on the situation.)

KARR would come back, stronger then ever. And, this time, he has cloned himself for allies on an assembly line. What will happen when the prototype of the future has to deal with his own personality?

There would even be a Halloween episode where KITT gets possessed by an evil spirit.

GREAT IDEA BUT ....THERE IS A DEGREE OF ROBO-COP IN THE CONCEPT....

HERE'S A VEIN....NOT DUG DEEP ENUFF.....

There's already KITT/KARR

Garth/Michael
Devon/Devon (Knight of the juggernaunt )
Marco Bario's asst. wearing a Bonnie Barstow Mask

so why not a whole team of pseudo Foundation type that are going around sorta-doing what F.L.A.G. does then make em look bad as fugatives....with the CIA/SS/FBI/ATF using a rebuilt updated KARR
to literally hunt them down...and we later find out the orchestrator is
Garths Mother....

I like your ideas Jup - very RoboCop-esque [;)]

I decided on having the trio become fugitivies, so as to get away from the usual and familar L.A. scenary and locations. One thing I loved so much about 'KNIGHT OF THE JUGGERNAUNT' were the refreshing and stunning Chicago Metropolitan locales. Same goes for 'KNIGHT OF THE DRONE's' exciting San Franciso location work.

I didn't intend on the season to have them all on the run. Back in 1986-1987, this would of been FAR TOO EXPENSIVE to produce. Perhaps re-locating the entire show to New York or Dallas would be feasible. This is why I've decided to make the on-the-run concept short but fast, as you'll see after you've read below.

In true Lorne "Commander Adama" Greene style: "And now, the exciting conclusion of: 'KNIGHT ON THE RUN'" (working-title for now - other proposed titles: 'WANTED KNIGHT', 'KNIGHT PURSUIT', 'FIRED KNIGHT')

With large-scale FBI and police forces in pursuit, the Federal officers realise that in order to track them down quicker, they should request the assistance of any nearby desert valley based Air Force and Army facilities and aircraft. A fully-armed tactical reconassaince jet is dispatched, but Bonnie has already disabled KITT's radar and heat signatures, as well as his secondary tracking systems.

KITT detects the plane on his scopes, detailing it's speed, agility and immense firepower options. Michael realises that this is going to be a tough duel, having little if any experience in coming up against aerial opponents. With only magnesium flares, bullet-proof windows and fire-proof armour, it's down to Michael's driving skills to dodge any incoming bombs, rockets and missiles.

Engaging Super Pursuit Mode, Michael is able to take evasive action speedily, narrowingly missing the jet's armament. Eventually, Bonnie comes up with the long shot idea of taking control over one of the jet's last missiles. Seeing as the jet is a prototype, it has yet to be fitted with countermeasures, and so Bonnie succeeds in destroying the target.

As Michael, Bonnie and RC shout in relief and excitement and victory, Michael looks back to find a Cobra Attack Gunship flying inches away from the ground, heading dead-on for them. IN SLOW-MOTION WITHOUT ANY MUSIC, and quickly reacting without thinking, Michael swerves into a 180, but the chopper fires a Hellfire, and throws KITT into a violent, 10-turning mid-air explosive roll.

The car's SPM wings, alight with fire and sparkles, drop to the ground, as the gun-ship flies roaringly over the camera, before KITT's main body drops to the ground.

Inside, all 3 occupants are severly injured and heavily concussed, blood trickling from their foreheads, faces and lips, massively bruised and cut up. KITT's avionics have been blown to shreds.

The gun-ship prepares to land, as we pan back to reveal the remaining 4 helicopters of this aerial attack squadron. The FBI and police ground teams arrive to apprehend the fugitives, but their conditions are yet to be determined. Are they all dead, or will one of them be requiring immediate amputation and surgery, in order to live?

I would have liked to have seen Garth and Goliath make reappearances, KARR to return as well, possibly having them join together and for Michael & Bonnie to have got themselves together already. Perhaps end it with Michael leaving the foundation.

PRE-MICHAEL.....
I believe the series hinted at how KARR's history went. He was created. He was activated. He was mildly tested and the wrong ears caught wind as to his creation. These outside influences forced Wilton to cancel his project for the 'car of the future'. KARR was deactivated before he truly had a chance to even have any adventures. KARR grew a hatered for Wilton from this. KITT was built and activated in secret. (Which explains why KARR was in storage, when it would have been cheaper to just install KITT's CPU into an already built body. These outside forces would have known and fought Wilton, had he tried to even touch KARR, afterwards.) Time passed. Tony and The Rev re-activated KARR. The rest is known to all...though it was a split history. (I've read the published book. It reads quite different from how the episode went down, in some spots. Explains very well why KARR blew up and a few other details that made KARR's return quite impossible. It also notioned Bonnie in a rather different spotlight then how the show eventually wrote her as.)

The way I understood that Season 5 would start is that KARR would return (after someone had rebuilt him) destroys KITT requiring yet another rebuild (this may have been a ploy to eliminate SPM) and kills Bonnie in the process.

That would have made an interesting start to Season 5. Mind you, I also like the idea of Michael, Bonnie and Reginald and KITT being on the run from the law.

This is how I see it. It opens up when the audience sees a car in pieces and a man in a wheelchair being pushed by a nurse pushing the chair around the dusty grounds. The man in the wheelchair face is covered in bandages. The man hears a sound and he motions to the nurse to wheel him over, there the man singles for the people in the truck to pick up the pieces. An older man walks over to the man in the wheelchair and says, “Are you sure we can fix him.” The man in the wheel chair just nods his head. The older man and the man in the wheelchair go back to the truck. The older man gets in the driver seat and the camera pans to his face and it is Acid' John Byrock.

The next scene we see KITT in the shop and Bonnie is working on him and Devon and Michael discussing Michael’s next case in Devon’s office which involves the disappearance of Rita Wilcox who has know being living a normal life with a husband and kids. Devon and Michael hear the security alarms going off and Devon grabs the phone and calls Security with no response. Michael calls KITT on the comlink and KITT responds that two guards are dead and Bonnie has been kidnapped. KITT states that he has a visual off the men who took Bonnie and Devon punches it up on the Computer and Devon and Michael are in shock when they see pictures and it is the hired hands of Garth Knight.

Devon gets a call and he recognizes the voice on the phone it is Garth Knight stating the he has Rita and Bonnie and he will kill them unless Michael meets with him in the Las Vegas desert. Then we see a KARR being rebuilt. Devon tells Michael about the call and he tells him to watch his step it could be a trap. Michael drives to the point where Garth told him to meet. KITT tells Michael there is something strange and Michael asks KITT what is wrong he states that his systems are being overriding, Michael pushes some buttons. We see the person who is overriding KITT and it is Bonnie who is now brain washed. John Byrock who has a gun to Bonnie’s backs asks her if she is finished and she nods her head.

John gets on the phone and calls Garth and tells him it is done. Next thing we hear the horn of Goliath, Michael looks around and see no semi and out of nowhere where Michael and KITT gets hit hard from side and Michael looks to his side and he sees KARR back in form. Michael in panic tells KITT for help but KITT is helpless. KARR keeps hitting the car over and over. The knock of the KARR hitting KITT and knocks Michael out a few moments later Michael hears from KITT to wake up and Michael does and KITT tells Michael sorry and ejects him and when Michael lands he looks up to see why KITT ejected him and sees KITT dipped back in acid.

Michael calls Devon and tells him what happened. Devon calls an old friend to help rebuilt KITT it is April Curtis. The end of the first show you see KITT get removed from the acid and loaded up to go back to the Knight Lab where Devon and Jennifer are waiting to talk to Michael and the show ends with KITT in the lab gutted and waiting to be worked on. This is a three part show this is part one I have written this is a summary. Tell me what you think.

Scrapyard dog: In typical Knight rider fashion kitt is destroyed in the first episode of season 5 after Michael returns to the toxic waste dump site to see how it has progressed after 20 some odd years. It is just a vacant lot and michael drives to the spot where kitt was dunked in the toxic sludge. The pit was filled in and the toxic waste was underneath buried forever. To michaels horror he realized that he accidently parked on top of the pit and kitt starts sinking again. Cut to a shot of a model car spinning its wheels in the sludge. Kitt yells Oh brother not again and than tells michael to get out and he jumps clear. Kitt sinks down into the toxic sludge again. Once bonnie hears the news she is frantic. She calls a group of inner city youths to help rebuild kitt back to new again. They add a new function where kitt can turn into a can of tomatoes on demand as to disguise himself from would be attackers or thieves. Michael is not told about this new function and a hillarious comedy scene insues at the end where Michael finds out kitts new abilities.

give me liberty or give me death again: Michael and the foundation reenter kitt into a second alternative fuel race to win the first place cash reward since michael and bonnie have spent all the foundations money and they are at risk of loosing the mansion. Kitt of course wins and they get the cash reward which is just enough to pay the mansions high mortgage and to supply devon with a new/old mercedes convertible, bonnie a new computer and michael a gift certificate for burgerking.

Still White line warriors: Michael goes back to the same town where the original street racers were. Although the street racers are now using riced up cars and this would provide lots of laughs and kitt makes fun of the huge fart can tailpipes and shopping cart wings on the riced out cars. Michael spends the week there handing every racer there butt and hanging out with the local girls. He even gets to spend a day at the klpc radio station filling in for handsome andsome while he is in jail. Of course michael plays crumbling down all day back to back and suprisingly no thefts occur although he notices that the radio station wall has an indentation in it from the door hitting it somehow.

Speed Demons 2: Michael goes to check up on Kelly to see how his surgery went, the surgery went great and he is back into motocross and wants his helmet back from michael. Michael has to race to get to the event so he can return kelleys helmet before the race starts. Along the way he encounters all kinds of setbacks requiring him to take more time out of getting to the race. He arrives to the race just as they are lining up getting ready to start.

Millies Chilly: A short episode about where michael finally gets to go eat at millies chillie and the effects the chillie has on his body for the remainder of the episode, with kitt providining some humor through the comlink while michael is in the foundations master bathroom.

The return of the carefully constructed train wreck. RC3 shows up in the mobile command unit with his old dirtbike which has been completly redone although devon still gives him crap for it. He asks devon for some time off so he can return to his old neighborhood as the street avenger once again since crime is getting rampant. He uses his dirtbike to help nab the bad guys. On one intance however he gets into trouble and has to call michael for assistance which michael obliges

Return to the 19th hole. Michael and kitt go back to the 19th hole only to discover that the police have just started digging up the remains and were burying them in a cemetary close by. Michael and kitt decide to help with the transportation of the bodies to get the job done quicker and we see a overly agitated kitt stuffed full of corpses go into super pursuit mode so michael can get to the cemetary quicker so he can take the gas mask he is wearing off. A train gets in the way and michael can't wait for it so he turbo boosts over the train and we see a hillarious shot of bodies falling out of kitt as he lands. at the end of the episode kitt comments on how he will never get the smell out of the apolstry. Michael justs laughs.

Dead Sammys stunt show: Michael gets an urgent call from sammys daughter saying her dad has just passed away at the ripe age of 113. He died doing what he loved doing and was in the middle of skiing when he passed. His car went through the fence and into the bleachers which were rebuilt some 20 years ago totally destroying them again. Sammys daughter needs michael to be in the stunt show once again to bring back the customers that were not killed from getting run over by the run away car when sammy passed. Michael comes up with a new stunt where he stands on the hood of kitt as he turbo boosts through a semi truck, pops a wheelie and does a 360 backflip with michael still on the hood. Than the son rides over kitt and michael jumps onto the dirtbike doing a flip off the hood of kit The show is a success and the daughter becomes a millionair overnight and completely rebuilds the stadium and names it stunt show extravaganza.

King jack is finally dead(for real this time): Michael gets a call from that girl and she lets him know that King Jack passed away after she shot him because he ate her clothes and the rest of the episode is shown with michael and her crying but then King Jack appears out of nowhere completely unharmed.
Booonnnnnzzzzaaaaaiii!!!!!!!! As michael turbo boosts to score the extra point. His face is so funny when he yells this and when he hits turbo boost his eyes get huge and he flies back into the seat

Absolutely, positively, freakin', bloody,....genius. Only one suggested modification. The new super car has the CPU of KARR. >.> Only the CIA doesn't know it.
Unbeknownst to the CIA they hired Garthe Knight. Garthe installed K.A.R.R.'s CPU with the intent to steal K.A.R.R.
for himself. Ostrisize his sister Jennifer Knight and take control of his father's company with he feels rightful belongs to him. Garthe rebuilts Goliath. If this comes to fruitation Garthe intents to destroy Michael, Bonnie, Devon, K.I.T.T. and RC3.Then terrorize an unsuspecting world. The CIA will stop at nothing to get their car back.
Now we are locked in a three way battle.
