Good luck on that.I'm not saying that to be mean or a dick, but that thing is going for big bucks on Ebay.It is worth a pretty penny.

I too am looking for one and I'm hoping my cousin's is still in storage.

Yeah, I just saw this auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/Kenner-Michael-Knig ... dZViewItem

The current bid is at $405! Though I admit, this is the first time I've seen a KITT in that condition.

I still have mine in perfect condition, minus the box and instruction. Before anyone even asks, no I'm not going to sell it. :kitt2:

The new show seems to have driven the prices up on alot of this stuff. I sure wish I would have gotten one of the new Ertl cars when there were tons of them on ebay for cheap.

I used to have the Voice Car as a child until my mother threw it out on me because the doors constantly came off. I was not a happy camper that day. A few years ago I saw one on eBay, but it did not have the bottom battery cover or the Michael Knight figure. Fortunately I still had the original Michael figure so I won the auction and bought the car for $43.00. The voice player even still worked and I got a kick out of hearing it again all those years later. All it basically has is a minor scuff on the roof, but nothing that bothers me. But the pristine condition ones that are mint in the original box do go for a few hundred dollars, typically.

My local HobbyTown USA used to sell KITT, KARR, and Semi replicas. I don't know what happened to them, though. They disappeared a few weeks before KR2008 came out...I guess they were declared obsolete. You could just buy an '81 Trans Am model and customize the hell out of it like I did : )

I do believe they will be getting a Knight 3000 1:18 and 1:24 model in by April, though.

I have an original K.I.T.T Radio controlled car in the box with paperwork and badges... does anyone know if it's rare now or how much it's worth? it is in very good condition and still works! :good: :!:

Hope it's of interest? :kitt2:

Was the FLAG semi ever made into a toy? I don't recall seeing it available.

I still have the Knight Rider race track, i believe i still have KITT too. Although i think it's missing a piece of the race track. One of my few original KR toys i'd be willing to part with.

I have the talking car too, with MK, not parting with that though.
Call me Mike.

I have the Knight Rider talking Kitt as well, and it's one of the few toys that I kept from childhood. I wouldn't part with it for anything ! On that note, I do have two other original KR toys, one is the Michael Knight figure (from Kenner) that came with the KITT, I have an extra for sale, and also, the trailer from the Comtron playset. Don't know what happened to the semi, but the trailer is for sale also.

Other items in my collection include the now rare Ertl release of KITT, die cast metal, 1:24 scale, mint in box, as well as the old "Key car" KITT found at a local antique shop...oh, and a Hasselhoff signed script. Ebay is a wonderful thing !! :kitt2:

Not sure about the movie, but uh, yeah. That toy is worth some money. I'd definitely hang onto it if I were you, especially having the box and paperwork.

As for me, I've got the talking car, pretty much in mint condition. One small, mostly unnoticeable scuff on the rear doorframe. The talking mechanism still works just fine as well. Michael is also in mint condition. I bought if off of Ebay about four years ago from someone offering it as a 'Buy It Now' for $75. I took a chance because they didn't say in the auction whether it worked or not, and the photo was sort of blurry. Needless to say, I was VERY happy with that purchase. :D About a year ago I found the box for it in pretty decent condition, also on Ebay. Now all I need is the paperwork and I'll be set! :)

Got a lot of other toys off of Ebay as well. My collection is growing! :good:
