When I brought Jump In My Car single....

Post by Daemonicus666 » Tue Oct 17, 2006 1:22 am

I went to local music retailer yesterday and grabbed a copy of The Hoff's single and when I went to pay for it, the guys at the counter paid out on me for buying the CD. This irritated me greatly, not only were they insulting me (I usually only buy metal cds from there) but they started saying Knight Rider was the worst show of the 80's. Needless to say I wont be going there anymore.

you could write a letter to the store manager.

Telling your exspreince.

See if they laugh them.

I hate to say it but that is something I would have ordered online and
have it mailed to me.

No way in hell I would have bought that in person. Not that I would ever
buy it anyways. It's just so god aweful.

and I thoguht his "I can't stop this feeling video" was bad. Ugghhhhh.

On a lighter note, The Hoff in Click was one of his better acting gigs.
Sandler breaking wind in his face was the funniest thing I think I have
ever seen.

"smack - smack - smack- Uhhh - I taste sh*t! - Did you put Sh*t in my lunch? ".......... LMAO!

I am considering that Whet actually. I didnt mind buying it at all Knight Driver, if something other people consider lame and if I like it I will buy it. I dont care what other people think. Well except in this case cause it was uncalled for.

That is disgraceful behavior from the employees of that store :x

Tell me where that store is (PM me if you like, to stop everyone else going there with fire and axes!)

I am in Melbourne also, I will drive to that store and park my Trans Am right on their front door (if it's next to a car park!), walk in and proudly buy that CD as well.

I certainly do not hide my passion and devotion of Knight Rider and if people have a problem with that, it's their problem, not mine. Simple.

And they better be prepared if they make any smart remarks ...

ausknight2k got any pics of your Trans Am?

They don't have any idea how good a show Knight Rider is.

I hate when people react that way. It's none of their business what you like or don't like. The fact that we all take the time to read this message board and write fanfiction and watch the show after 20yrs. should prove that it was a good show. Who gives a sh** about what they think anyway?

I would have asked "Why the heck are you stocking it on your shelves then?"

I would have called the manager too. Right there in front of them. Or mall security if it was in a mall.

I know what you guys mean. I love Knight Rider and would never hide that for any reason. Belive it or not i've never gotten hasseld by the younger kids at the music store when i buy Prince and Michael Jackson things. For some reason people asume what they like is ok and what you like sucks :?

That car is the only known right hand drive accurate replica of KITT that exists and it's in Australia.

Wow, what a bunch of a-holes.

Forget about the Knight Rider thing for a moment, just the fact that they were harrassing a customer is wrong. I don't know how it is down under, but here in the States, they would have been fired. You should have complained to the manager.

As DH himself would say, a la "America's Got Talent",
"That's sacreligious, man!"
I think the people there at that particular record store in Australia really don't know what they're missing.  :?

It was in Geelong my friend. I am thinking of writing a letter of complaint. Regardless they have lost money from me as I usually spend a few hundred dollars there a month.

when I am in the RHD KITT it doesn't feel any different to the LHD KITT all the electronics have the same sort of layout and it looks good RHD too!

Apparently David really liked that KITT.

Well writing a letter of complaint could at least tell them what they just lost.

Nismogtr21 - Not entirely. I live in the states and I've had workers harass me as well. And then when I did contact management, they would defend the worker. When I tell them "I won't be shopping here no more and I'll tell my friends not to either". They tell me "Well, you can do that." as if it means absolutely nothing to them.

There are other times where the manager just apologizes, but when I go back (even months later) the same person is STILL working for them. And treating people no better. :(

Not any better in the states.

I've bought stuff and workers have commented on it, doesn't bother me. It's not really worth going on about, IMO.

But you are brave buying that in the store. :P
