Does David Hasselhoff Own..........
Does David Hasselhoff own his own K.I.T.T. car?
This may sound like a stupid question but, with all the conversion replicas & refurbished screen cars, etc., that people own, I was wondering if "Michael Knight" himself has his own K.I.T.T..
Just wondering. I apologize if this question has been asked here on these forums before.
Best wishes,

back when knight rider was the main event ,David was given two free trans am from GM ,because the sales of those cars were skyrocketing and people were asking for a knight rider version that was not offered and his name was mentioned many times regarding the trans am ,which was sononymas like when poeple were talking about Burt Reynolds and "smokey and the bandit"....so every year the show did well and trans ams sold well ,Mr.Hasselhoff got free trans ams ,but after puting in so many miles to them he would give them to universal to make more kitts ,which is were "Custom kitt" became an idea after his own pimped out ride that he had for short while!....but after the show was over ,the studio gave him two original show cars ,one being the one off convertible and a season 2 prop car!....although the left over cars were claimed to be destroyed because of the clause that gm had with universal about the cars not being street legal, they were suppose to be destroyed and some were!,not all of them, its believed that a few other cars may have been sold to museums and private auctions ,by collectors and one of the cars is still in england and the 2nd season kitt in northern california and all others that may survived?....may have been gaffled for parts for counterfitters and what not?.....the two cars that Mr.Hasselhoff had were sold ,by his Ex-Wife,without his kowledge!....but that was back in the late 80's during his first divorce!....but the rumor about all the cars being destroyed is bogus!
I have seen many replicas with accurate parts ,that are too accurate only to be original pieces!...and the season two kitt was gaffled ,but most of the original parts in the car were still there!...the untimate dead give away was the windshield not having any tint!....of course if you have the money ,you could have a glass shop custom make you no tint windshield!
how ever David did mention somewhere about getting his own replica ,so anything is possible!
