For sheer nostalgia factor, KITT vs KARR ... but I also love Junkyard Dog. Any time KITT gets destroyed it's an enjoyable episode.

Knight in the Fast lane is one of my favourites from Season 3, also Knight in Retreat features a god awful cover of Careless Whisper which i always laugh at :P

Junk Yard Dog. Seeing Kitt powerless, slowly descending in the acid pit, crying for help always brings a tear to my eyes. The episode shows how true the friendship is between Kitt, Michael, Bonnie and Devon. I think it's the most mature episode of Season 3 (although far more less mature than Season 2's Race for life, which is the best episode of the whole series).

why is that, all us fans love it when kitt get's messed up and comes back to life, it is cause even being indetructable he can still get hurt, and it's fun to see him get well, or the fact that the story line is usually better then most episodes. I would say now that season 3 is my favorite after the dvd, lots of great episodes.

I like them as they're more dramatic and even when KITT is badly damaged, he can still fight back and win the day- in a way it's saying that he's indestructable You may hurt him, but he'll get payback and be fixed:D

I can't tell which one is my favorite yet. I have to narrow it down to KITT v Karr, Junkyard Dog, Knight in Disgrace, Knight of the Chameleon, and a few others that I also like. It's hard to pick one.

I don't have just one favorite 3rd season episode, since I can't pick just one.
My favorite season 3 episodes are:
"Knight of the Drones"
"Knights of the Fast Lane"
"Circus Knights"
"Lost Knight"
"KITT vs. KARR"
"Junk Yard Dog"
That's all I can think of just now.....

I haven't finished watching all the episodes yet, but my favorites so far are KITT vs. KARR, Knight in Disgrace, Lost Knight, Junk Yard Dog, and Knight of the Chameleon. I just love KITT's interactions with that flyer guy.

KITT: "The things of forced to put up with." :lol:
Flyer Guy: "You really a talking car?"
KITT: "No. I'm a tight end for the Chicago Bears!"

I think KITT actually said: "The things I'm forced to put up with....", before KITT's scanner did its thing.

At least that is what it is right now. I haven't had time to see a lot of the episodes a second time yet. Only a few.

Junkyard Dog

But really, I think there are very few clunkers in season 3. For me, it's the season that really is Knight Rider.

Knight in Disgrace was great, I love the scene when they Turbo Boost onto the lawn where the party was taking place...

I always wish that the bad guy, Boyd was also named Boyd in the S4 opener, JUGGERNAUT, since it was the same actor. Knight Rider needed more returning bad guys/gals, cause it was so cool when Adrianne returned from lockup... I think that was the only time, other than Garth/KARR and the Cameleon, but we never saw when Michael originally caught the Cameleon...

I don't think he did. The Cameleon was caught before Michael was found by Wilton. There was a guy named Ken something (I keep forgetting the name) that was a first choice of Wilton to drive KITT but was killed by the Cameleon so Wilton had decided on Michael. Makes me wonder if this Ken guy was originally KARR's driver since KARR was pre-KITT, and since KITT was activated after Michael was found and recovering.

I think you're thinking of CJ Jackson from the season opener, because Michael said he remembered the Chameleon and he knew his daughter very well too...

It was said that he caught the Chameleon "2 years ago", so that means it happened during season 1. His daughter remembered KITT and Michael. So it just happened "off camera" during season 1. For Stargate SG-1, someone actually tallied up all of the planets SG-1 supposedly explored, and how many we saw them explore on the show, and they came up with a figure: that on the show we get to see approximately 1/3 of SG-1's missions. Knight Rider is probably the same. There is probably more stuff that KITT and Michael did that we DIDN'T get to see than we did. For the record, I think that the previous FLAG agent that CJ Jackson killed was KARR's original driver (until KARR was deactivated).

Ah, ok. I agree though that since they mentioned another operative, that it could have been KARR's.

Yep.... Those eps are the best. I love to see the heros get beat down..... It has what I call the "SG-1" effect.....

How morbid, lol.

Knight In Disgrace is a sweet episode. I've only seen it once before, and I was blown away when I was seeing it. Partly because there was still an episode I hadn't seen yet, partly because "What the hell is goign on?!?!"
Michael: "KITT! Where are ya?!"
K.I.T.T.: "I'm in your parking space, Michael, where else would I be?"

Ah, to be young again! I would be pretty sweet to somehow erase your memory of KR and be mesmerized by it all over again!

It's refreshing when new people get interested in KR, because they can get stale after seeing them over and over again, but then when you hear this, it reminds you of how good they really are, and you realize it was one of the best series ever!
