I always wondered what would happen if KR met reality....here's how I think American Idol would go.
(Michael Knight sings a snippet from the song "First Night Together". Once he finishes, he faces down the judges of American Idol: Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and the dastardly Simon Cowell.)
Randy: Um, that was...uh...good man.
Paula: It was interesting. Like the jeans. The look is kinda sexy.
Simon: Oh, puhlease...
KITT: Uh, Mr. Cowell, excuse me a moment, I have been waiting several years to do this, if I may.
(Simon nods to KITT, and sits back, crossing is arms and laying back in his office chair.)
KITT: That was horrible! You looked like a puppet with it's strings broken, and is it possible for you to hit a single note? I can't even get my tires that flat! Maybe if you wore a little less constricting jeans, you might find your actual vocal range.
Simon: Now THAT was mean.
KITT: Be quiet, I'm on a roll.
Simon: I think you should go to hollywood.
KITT: Are you tone deaf?
Paula: I'm going with a sympathy vote here, due to attack by bitter car, yes, you are going to Hollywood.
Randy: I agree, Michael, Michael, Michael, just work on the emoting a bit.
KITT: You are all pathetic, just pathetic!
