idea about the movie

Post by djshag69 » Thu Dec 04, 2003 5:46 pm

well i know everyone has their own opinion but the thing i like about this forum is everyone goes about it in a positive way to express it. obviously being fairly new to this forum its nice to know im not the only one completely obsessed with this show. so with that in mind, obviously it would be great for the movie if they kept the original car added some new things but didn't change it around to much to ruin it.

but what if they took kr4000 i mean it was flashy, looked fast, but it looked a tiny bit bulky. i know you guys have talked about this on other discussion topics, but maybe we could brainstorm some ideas and come up with the body and specs of a car we would all love and see, and make it look like something in the 21st century.

My opinion is they keep KITT a TA. It does not matter if it is 2002 or 1986, but he needs to be in a Trans Am. I think he should have some new features, but don't go too far.

Well, I think the 1982 Trans-Am is too out of date for a modern movie. I don't know exactly how to tell this, but I think it should be pretty much a modern Trans-Am with modern gadgetry. Kind of like in the James Bond films.

Only it is KITT which talks and drives on its own. Maybe it should have new features added like being able to turn invisible and drop out traps (suck as jacks). It has all those modern effects on the computers.

Maybe they should add a new feauture where it can glide when going off the ground and hurtling through the air. It has rocket jets that have it make a safe landing.

Good ideas Mike. Sounds a lot like the cars James Bond drives only as if they were feautures added onto KITT. How bout a mode where a raft can form out in case it ends up over water?

Suppose they do a scene where guys try to get in the car where at first they try to simply open the doors. But it has that electric lock that will only let the rightful driver in. Then they use crowbars to get the doors welded open, but that only causes huge sparks. After that, they fire machine guns at it and the bullets just bounce off.

Michael is captured when this is going on and having to talk himself past whoever is keeping him captive. But he finally gets past that guy and uses his commlink to summon KITT. The guys get frustrated with trying to get inside, so they ask Michael to be brought down to them. But Michael does take care of business (like I said) and sneak out thinking about how he's going to try to get to his car.

KITT automatically ignites and drives away from the bad guys trying to get in him. Michael sneaks over there and gets inside. They go riding around the area with the bad guys shooting at the car and trying to stop them.

Does this sound a lot like something from a movie already made?

I got an idea for a KR movie: Michael Knight meets James Bond

David Hasselhoff: My name's Michael Knight. I work for the Foundation of Law and Government.

Pierce Brosnan: The name's Bond. James Bond. I work for the British government.

KITT: How do you like your tea, Mr. Bond?

Bond: Shaken. Not stirred.

F.L.A.G. and MI6 embark on a mission together.

For once somebody likes an idea I came up with. They both have two things in common. Cars that can do what no other can. And they wear watches with special gadgetry. Michael Knight and James Bond would make a great team.

Yeah well there is one thing that KITT can do that the bonds cars can't seem too..... keep from getting dystroyed in every ep/movie made. LOL

Actually in Die Another Day, the car got a beating, but wasn't blown up or cut in half, or mangled in way. That is the first movie I have seen the car survive. Just thought that was funny.

The Lotus in The Spy Who Loved Me survived, though it did spring a leak while underwater.
